"What about Sunday"

Well my planned talked ended up being very brief. Last night when I came home from playing taxi cab (which also ends Sunday*insert praise dance*), WB asked if he could use my laptop cuz he needed to do an online application. I agreed and just automatically thought this was for a job. Well while the laptop is booting up he pulls out some papers and puts them next to the computer. When I went to put my passwords in I noticed that it was the papers about the apartment I was telling them about last month when the one they really wanted fell through! Since I had printed the papers offline I also took notice of the date I printed them....10/17/05 which means that I told them about this place exactly one month ago today! So in the space of seconds I mentally rewinded time......

Monday 10/17 I found the place online, called the guy, got the info, printed everything about the apartment I could find and gave it to WB and KD that night. I asked about the place later on that week and when KD told me she hadn't called the guy I offered to take her to the library that Saturday to apply online since at the time my laptop wasn't working (you don't have to pay an application fee when you do it online). Friday KD tells me that she is gonna go to a girlfriends house Saturday and apply on her computer. Ok great. So that puts her applying for this place sometime on 10/22.

WHY were they applying last night, a little over 3 weeks later???? I know that at least 1/2 of what comes out of KD's mouth is crap but WTF! So this made a very easy segway for my little talk. I asked WB why he was applying for the spot when KD did it already. KD took the liberty to answer and said something about the application didn't go through and the guy didn't have anything from her. Now any "normal" person that found a decent spot for a cheap ass rate would have called the spot at least a week after applying if they hadn't heard anything to make sure everything was all good. When I asked if she made any follow up calls she said she called dude yesterday! WTF! After that I really wasn't listening to what she was saying. I am getting really good at that! LOL so after she stopped talking I asked her 1 question.

"What are yall gonna do between Sunday and your move in date?" on hindsight I could have asked a better question....I posted yesterday that I needed to be simple and clear. She told me about when they get paid, which was unrelated to the question so I rephrased.

"What are yall gonna do Sunday?"

"What about Sunday?" This answer/question was priceless cause she asked with that....what is going on on Sunday look. Simply priceless.

"Have you figured out where yall are gonna stay after Sunday, cuz Sunday is the 20th and you won't be here after then?" Which should have been the first damn question. LOL

That's when I got another facial expression that said something like "oh" (man I wish I had pictures of those facial expressions) and she said that they have not figured it out yet and they may stay with her aunt.

I said okay and as I was walking away I told them to let me know if they needed me to drop there stuff off anywhere on Sunday and left it like that. I can at least do one last good deed and not have them have to drag bags on the bus. I don't know if her aunt has a car or not. Who knows.

Well, it's time for me to leave and eat Turkey Day lunch with my baby at daycare! I am such a momma! LOL
