Plain weekend

Today and tomorrow will be filled with me getting my study on and finding somewhere to put all my clothes. Inspired by the Jungle Book, Pooka decided she wanted to swing on my lower sections hanger bar and broke it. So now all my pants and skirts have no where to hang.

A dude is coming to house to look at the body damage of my car. I put up a posting looking for a mechanic a good while ago and I guess he just read it and responded this week. This guy is different than the one that did my under the hood estimate last week. I hope and pray this guy coming today really knows his stuff because he actually works on cars in my neighborhood.

The first guy who I saw lives about 30 miles away. He is a hot rodder and builds/restores cars for a hobby. After hanging with him and listen to him tell me about car shows and about stories of cars him and his boys put together. I had a serious interest in cars and had the urge to watch the fast and the furious! LOL. He showed me one of the cars him and his boys made and went into all this jargon about car parts that where in this car which boiled down to....this car goes really darn fast, really darn quick. It was funny cuz when he was talking turbos and nitrogen blahzay blahs I was just nodding my head and I eventually said "you know I have no idea what your talking about" He just laughed.

While this guy was going on and on about cars, his wife comes in and she is just this little itty bit woman. She couldn't be no more that 4' 10"-5' and not much more than 100lbs. She was a little thing, but not unhealthy looking little. She came to save me from the stories cuz "he'll go on and on and on if you let him". They are such a cute couple. He is 'bout 6-6'1", average weight and all I could think of when she came in the garage was that he must toss her all over that bedroom! Sad but that was that was the second inner thought after "dang she is little"! LOL

I think I am still gonna have the far mechanic do some under the hood work cuz he made me a package deal that when I compared the services done other places it's a real bargin. Then have new guy today do the body work, if he seems like he knows what he is doing and talking about. I won't know that till I meet him.

I am finally over my drama with that rude cop from the Thursday. There is nothing I can do to change the situation so I will leave it alone. I do strongly believe that Durham county police have me on some type of list cuz EVERY time I see one when I am in Durham, I get pulled! I mentioned that the time before Thursday, the car was parked and I wasn't even in it and some cop wrote me a warning!

To solve my little financial issue, I broke down and *sigh* took out a very small cash advance. Just enough to pay my ticket and get me to Thurs/Friday when my girlfriend is paying me back. I know that I could'veb use my cards from hell a.k.a. credit cards. But I am trying to pay off my big one and cancel it and just keep my card with the smaller limit and just use that when I need to rent a car or something like that. It's gonna take me a little while to get my credit back where it used to be *not that it's horrible now* but when I hit 30/early thirties I want to have my degree and a mortgage with the best rates possible....it's gonna happen.

Last night I made an attempt to show Pooka how to shuffle cards. Her fingers are not too much longer than the length of the cards so it made for some laughs trying to watch her bridge them. Yesterday I also showed her how to use the toaster, the one with 2 slots and you push the button down, bread pops up a minute or so later.... Well I don't know if that was the best idea cuz I guess she was so happy she could make toast she decided to make mommy 4 pieces of toast for breakfast. Very cute and very sweet, but now I have a feeling Imma have to hide the toaster to prevent the whole loaf from being toasted today. LOL

As far as LAL goes, he has gone ghost. The last convo we had I was told that he couldn't chill with me like I want and continue to surpress feelings anymore. He also said he don't want to hear about me hanging with anyone so that means he is not gonna read my blog anymore. So it is what it is.

Well that is pretty much it, it's time to start cleaning and studying!
