Hump Day

Well V-day has gone on about it's business and I am feeling great!!! No I didn't have a valentine, get a gift, get some loving, none of that...but I am still in a good mood.

Yesterday started off at the dentist. I get my teeth cleaned 3 times a year vs. 2 times a year and for the first time I got a all good report! Normally it's like...This is good, BUT such and such and such! So I guess this $11 dollar toothpaste is working! LOL To celebrate my good dental hygiene report I came to work and had a big slice of Valentine's day cake! Which was yummy! Then when I got home I ate the entire box of thin mint girl scout cookies! My dentist would have been proud!

I also got on the ball of finding out what I need to do to register Pooka for school this fall. I am so excited! It was funny cuz when my girlfriend called me up we got to talking about her kids and what they are doing in school and she asked "So what school is Pooka going to this year?" My response was that I didn't know and I'd find out in February cuz that's when the registration period begins. As soon as I said it it dawned on me that it WAS February already!!!! So I made all my calls and I am going up to the school Friday to handle my business! I can't believe I have a child old enough for grade school! This is CRAZY! I am a momma!

Day goes on, my girlfriend invited me over her house for a (lets dress up and get twisted tonight get together. I agree to attend. I leave work and drive out to Cary to pick up some things and almost get into 3 different accidents. By this time I am ready to go home. I don't know much about the Cary area so of course I get lost and now I am just done with the day! There was no way I was gonna make it home, wash, and dress up to go show my face for only a hot second at the spot cuz I gotta leave early to study for my chem test this morning *insert prayer*. So I call an cancel with my girlfriend and finally make it home.

I study for a spell then I took a break and had an interesting IM convo with baby daddy. We had our own little pity party for not getting any booty last night. We were st8 tripping. He just got a vehicle and is bringing Pooka up the first weekend in March cuz she has back to back appointments on the 9th and 10th. We also made "possible plans" for him being here during our spring break! I have some pros and cons on that. Big con : he'd be @ my place while I am at work.... Big pro : when I get home dinner will be done or cooking and I dicked down the way I like every night for a week....hmmmmm LOL! Anyways it was fun chatting with him last night.

Oh yeah, while reading my blogs this morning Big Chips came in my office. She asked me about my taxes again. I didn't fuss her out or bring up the fact she has a family and "boyfriend" that should be able to hold her down till Friday (which is when she supposed to be getting her refund). I simply told her I spent it, which was the truth. The few dollars I have left is going towards my new bed and to get my intake valves on my car right! You know she had the NERVE to say "Damn, I knew I should have asked you yesterday!" I laughed and told her that my money was spent before I even got it, which also was the truth. I only told her that so she would understand that no matter when she asked me, she wasn't gonna get it from me! LOL She just told me that she felt me and that her refund is spent also and made her exit out my door! She is trippin'! What makes her think I got this big ole tax refund anyways?????? I mean I got/had a lil sumtin' but not enough where someone should try to hit me up like I hit the jackpot! Sheesh! LOL
