Thursday rambles

Yesterday was painful and delightful. Painful because it took me the entire class (1 hr 15mins) to almost complete Dr. Vodka's exam which was TEN questions! I am confident in most of my answers but 3 of them killed me. When he said that class time was almost up I just bs'ed an answer on 2 and left one blank! Oh well. Delightful that I am doing my thing in Chemistry. This chapter we are dealing with is basically dealing with how the body works and I can do that all day long! That's my niche.

Today I got my business clothes on. After work I am going to get my mommy duty on and go to Pooka's open house at her school. Even though I know all the kindegarden teachers are female, I have this teeny tiny wish that her teacher will be some tall dark and handsome stud!

My mom called me at 5:30 this morning. I normally will be up and running by then, but this morning I had a hard time getting up. I don't think I got out the bed till a little after 6. I had all my stuff ready so it didn't take me long to shower, dry, moisturize and dress. I managed to get out, stop to the grocery store for breakfast & lunch and make it to work at 7! *I typed my momma up, she just called me again* While browsing the frozen meal area I saw hot pocket subs on sale and I got so excited that I laughed at myself. It wasn't because they where on sale, it was because they were on sale and I had a coupon! I am a coupon cutter for life! I keep them in my purse. My mother brought me a little coupon holder thing cuz she know how I do, but I have never used it. Anyways, I buy my hotpocket subs (one for breakfast one for lunch) and low an behold I get another store coupon with my receipt for more hot or lean pockets! Yay! I love the small joys in life! Okay back to my oringinal thought

My mom calls me at least twice a day, everyday. Which is cool. It's not uncommon for her to call me before I leave for work. She called at 5:30 and I igg'ed the phone, she called again about 10 minutes later, I igged it again, then she called at 10 till 6. I finally answered because I just knew it was an emergency and different folks where trying to get me to tell me what the deal is! Well lets just say that it wasn't important.....at all! I love my mother with all I have, I really do. But dang? Three times? I picked at my mom and she just laughed. I mean come on THREE TIMES about some MAIL??????? Ugh! I gotta love her, and I do, but geez! At least this call a moment ago was to remind me to do something important, which I asked her to do so it's cool! LOL

I can't help but wonder if I will be like this with Pooka in 20 years?
