Yesterday everything was the same ole same ole. The routine begins yet again *sigh* This morning Pooka woke up with dried up snot on her face and a nose full of crap. I hope she isn't getting the crud. I gave her some oj and medicine this morning to help breakup whatever is trying to form.
The virus that caused my supervisor to faint and break a bone has now spread to my admin! So far about 3 others outside of them 2 has had it. I am praying that I don't catch it.
I am planning to get off early to handle some business *payday's today* and to meet up with Kuntry for dinuch...lunner...whatever that meal is after lunch but b4 dinner!
I may have to have him start to interact with Pooka before I feel him out all the way through. I really don't like that idea tho'. They have been in each other's presence already for about an hour. The same thing ended up happening when I was talking to LAL. He ended up meeting her really early on in the getting to know you stage. But he was it! I don't know. Right now Kuntry is kinda starting over in life and he doesn't have much. Like this weekend, the car he drove was his mothers. There is some other stuff that don't fit my preference list, but I decided that nobody is going to fit my list 100% and that I should weigh his personality more than what he has. Before this weekend I had a sit down with myself and asked myself if I was knocking stuff off my list because I was bored and lonely. I think that is what prompted me to accept the set up, but it's not why I continue to have the want to get to know him. All this was decided before I met him this weekend. So anyways, being that he don't have a car he is not able to come by in the late evening without spending the night. If he came by any earlier Pooka would be up, so I guess I will just go with the flow at the moment.
Well off to pay my online bills! :-D

i'm kinda doing the same thing with the list, although i'm not actively looking. at this point, i'm not even trying to deal with certain brothas as friends. they gotta have at least the essentials:
wash their asses daily
no rotten breath
got a job
is intelligent enough to know the difference between vein and vain
that's about it. LOL

I don't think there is anyone out there that can fit our lists perfectly...although some may come very close. You just have to do what makes you happy.
On the Pooka meeting your new friend situation...My grandmother told me something a long time ago that stuck with me. "Never trust a person that your kids or your dog don't trust. They are more loyal to you than anyone or anything will ever be, and they can sense things that you can't." So proceed with caution because she will pick up on things that you are oblivious to.
Why we got the same blog title LOL...I feel ya about not being to particular in your list anymore the way I see it is he can't be 100% at least not all the time lol cause I'm not 100% then he might be too perfect for me...hope the lil one feels better it's no fun being sick.
It's good that you're trying to look past what he has and actually see who he is first. Too many people have it reversed. If he has A,B, & C then I think he might be good enough to take a chance on and get to know. Compromise is a good thing, giving up and settling is not so good.

hmmmm good question...when is it time to allow your seed to get to know ur potential lover? don't wanna wait toooo late just in case they don't get along...but not too early either...
that's one to contemplate.

Southern - See that's kinda how I am with Kuntry. He works part time and makes less than I do, but he is going back to school. He has goals and I can't knock a brotha for trying to make lemonade from the lemon patch he is coming out of. If we are gonna be chilling for awhile, at least he'd know that I was there before his dreams came to fruition....
oooh, the car thing is a biggie. are there no busses, cabs or trains? just asking...cuz my MUSTS are few, but that's one of them.
