Myspace, yahoo groups, yahoo 360, black planet, black voices, hi5, blogger, facebook, and all the other keep in touch while meeting other folks sites out there....
HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KEEP UP???????
I have an account with just about every site like this and most are growing dust! I can only purely serve one net site at a time. Like right now, it's blogger. Yesterday or the day before ShawnQT aka Adult Swim over on the left created him a myspace account. So it reminded me to check my myspace account. Why haven't I been logged in since like February????LOL. I log in and I got messages and invites from my high school crew and all that! I thought Myspace was supposed to email you when someone add's something to your page? *shrug* Well I caught up with my friends from back in the day and even added some more friends! I added some blogger folks too! I am determined only to have people I know or sorta kinda know on my list. I seen people with a friend list in the 4 digit number range! That is crazy! Some guy in Raleigh wanted to know if I was single. PLEASE! Must every site be used to meet you next cut buddy? Whatever! I just don't know how people have all these accounts and keep all of them current! LOL
More than one of my high school bud's complained that I only had one picture on my page and wanted more and at least one of Pooka. So I went home last night to see if I had some decent pics and the truth is I haven't really taken any pictures recently. Most of the time when I travel or go to a party or something like that, I am the one taking the pictures! LOL I found a few, but they are not 2006 or even late 2005. But if it will make my bud's happy, I'll hit up Kinko's at lunch and scan what little bit I got. Guess that means I'll have to fall victim to the digital camera revolution pretty soon! *sigh* That should keep them happy till I log back on to my space in 2007! LOL
Other than that, all my grades have been posted. 3 B's and 1 A. Not stellar, but I am not complaining. The lack of A's took my GPA down to 3.5, but I got time to bring that up. Especially since I am going back to part time and will not have to divide my time by 4, just by 2.

i feel you on all those accounts. i've got yahoo and myspace. i don't think i've ever done black planet or black voices.
i belong to mocha city though and i haven't been there in about three months. LOL

lol. Its funny, I have a yahoo 360 account that I DON'T use. And I have blogger, used to have friendster, andI have myspace. which I must admit, is my number one love right now. I am having more and more of my friends sign up and it's so awesome to communicate with my buddies back and forth. None of them have blogger accounts, so I have been spending most of my time on myspace, whereas blogger used to!

I am too scared to even look at my grades! I failed each and every one of my finals... eh...
Nikki - it's a sign of an addict! I like to be the first commenter on anyone's blog! It's the small things in life I'll tell yah! LOL
I need to downsize too, but I'm not ready yet! LOL I deleted the personals accounts I had with no problem....it's these keep in touch sites that I can't seem to delete!
Mel - Like I said, how can someone keep all these accounts active at the same time??? If I was just trying to get the bachelors, I wouldn't really sweat the 3.5. But the program I am trying to get into post grad is highly competitive, so I gotta be right and 3.5 isn't right enough! *sigh*

Sometimes I forget I even have myspace until I get an email saying I have a note or a friend request and of course there's facebook why people request confirmation as your friend when they know goodness well that they don't know you....I don't need to make any more stranger friends.
Yea Nurse dude is racking em up, I'm seriously thinking of taking a half day.

And the meet and greet thing is just plain crazy to me.

I am guilty of all these accounts...it's so bad that I don't remember what accounts I really have.

LOL, it’s funny that you would mention the MySpace accts because I just set one up this past weekend to. One of my sisters wanted me to do it because its what she’s into so I went ahead and did, but I don’t think I can keep up with that mess. I can barely keep up with my blog now a days!

who doesn't belong to a yahoo group? I belong to several... most of them were started up by friends (who I know in real life) who begged me to join. Now I'm too lazy to figure out how to delete them. I remotely care about two.
Facebook- I'm a recovering adict.
BP - garbage. I need to delete that page.
MySpace - could go the way of facebook.
I refuse to join friendster, hifive, ringo, etc, etc. I'm already doing too much.
Blogging has replaced my messageboard fetish. Not very many of my friends understand my blog fascination. It really is something I look forwrd to often. But I take comfort in knowing that I am not the only one.
