I feel the love

Many people that I haven't heard from in a minute decided to give me a check up call yesterday. That was nice to know I crossed some folks mind yesterday. Awwwwwwwwwwww, LOL. For the past few days now my phone has been ringing A LOT more. I kinda like it! Getting invited to different functions and having time requested of me to the point where events are over lapping and I had to write down what starts when and how long I can stay in order to show my face everywhere is something out of the ordinary for me! Just think, I was talking about how bored and lonely I was not even a week ago! LOL

This weekend I am scheduled to hit a few cookouts (Imma try to hit all of them, lol), maybe hit the pool, run around with a girlfriend to help handle some of her biz, and just hang out and listen to some jazz. A friend of mine is really starting to get into jazz heavy and it's peeking my interest more. I know a little something something about jazz even tho' I only own 2 jazz cds, but I think I am ready to learn more about this genre of music. So I am really excited to chill out, listen to good music, learn some stories behind the music, and maybe even dance a little. Who knows, I may start going to the weekly jazz nights at a club not too far from the house. I am just happy I'll be around some crazy tailed folk this weekend laughing and having a good time.

Before all that happens I gotta clean my couch. Pooka decided to have an accident on the couch and I didn't know it until this morning when I walked in my living room and smelled piss! I found where the smell came from and had a nice little chat with my child. She's been doing so well to start acting crazy now! I also noticed this morning that she scratched her eye real good doing something in her room. I never heard any loud noises and she never came to me crying about her eye. She says she don't know how it happened. *shrug* So now it's all swole up and half shut! I told her daytime teacher about it so they won't be calling or speculating about why her eye is scratched and swollen....
