Pregnacy now? I'll pass!

Friday I babysat my friends slightly over one year old. It further reminded me that I am in no way shape or form to have another baby any time soon! The lack of ablilty to tell me what they want, the crying, the into everything, the put everything in my mouth, alla dat! I am not ready! That is not to say that I had the baby bug. It was just a reminder. I spoke to babydaddy about the goings on of my babysitting adventure and somehow we got into the conversation about me having another child for him. To be honest, I would prefer to have my children be by the same person but like I said, that is waaaaaaaaaaay down the line. Then the man asked me about my love life. I was honest and told him right now it didn't exist. I told him about how every brotha has been running the same game just about and that I am ready for something different. He said that if he was more local he'd put in a bid to be that different man! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I had to inform him that he is the man that started all this! He is the man that taught me this game! He is whom I heard all these BS lines first! I swear, he is so funny sometimes.......

Saturday I cleaned up and blinked on the net most of the day. I think half my highschool is on myspace. I spent a lot of time taking a good look into people myspace pages and reading what's going on with them.

Mother's Day was spent acting like a kid! Pooka and I stayed in bed forever then had breakfast. After that we threw some old clothes on and went rolling down the hill in my backyard several times. I really hope my neighbors didn't see and/or record that. But it was fun! I hadn't done that in many many many years. After rolling and playing we layed on the ground and blew bubbles. I don't care how old you are. Bubbles make you happy. I can't explain it. Even when Pooka went inside, I still stayed out and blew a few more rounds of bubbles into the air and watched them float around! It was cool. We washed up and watched Chicken Run and the Cat in the Hat on the couch until it started to storm. So we grab our seats by the sliding door and watched the storm and hail...then sunlight...then thunder and lightning....then sunlight....the mist...then more rain. All of that within 2 hours! A tornado funnel was sighted one county up and it was moving toward my area so I was mostly looking for funnels. Fortunately there where none.

Instead of getting my construction paper card from the daycare, I got a plant. I wonder how long I can keep it alive! LOL Isn't exactly what I wanted but I had a great mother's day none the less...acting elementary!

Today is the first day of summer school. I am taking Abnormal Psyche. The only problem is I won't be here to start a procedure we do at work twice a week. I guess I gotta talk to my Lead about that....oh wait, that's me! LOL I guess there are some benefits to this position after all!

I respect anybody who can push something out of their body and have the patience to take care of such a big responsibility. Glad you had a nice Mothers Day!

Sometimes I really do think that I am ready for a baby, but when I hear stories like this, it makes me give it a second thought, LOL.

Awww, that sounds like so much fun with your daughter! That’s the kinda things I hear about that make me want to be a mother. That is too sweet. I’m glad that you enjoyed your day.
