The second half of summer school started yesterday and I am already 2 chapters behind because the ever so intelligent one figured that since she got paid Friday she could wait and take care of something else than get the book for class. Besides, if it was like my Ab Psyche class I wouldn't need the book at all. Well Dr. Crucial ain't no joke. There are 9 folk in my class (well that's how many showed up) and 4 of those are taking her for the second time for this particular class! I am the only one who has never had her before. No eyecandy btw, not even some "passing" men. Just 2 real slim "decent" guys :-(
Three times during class she looks at me and says "you'll get used to me". I guess she saw the intimidation on my face. After class was over I kept thinking about one statement she made....
"Come to class everyday and give me 2 hours everyday outside of class for a month, then it's over"
So if she is as bad as my classmates say, I will moan, groan and may call her a few names, but it's only a month. I can get serious for a month then I will have my credit and it will be done!
The only prob was I didn't have the books (there are 2 for the course) nor the money to pay for them and this is a class I can't get too far behind so I was stuck. So I called Kuntry and was telling him about my day, how class went and about my book situation...
"How much are they"
*smirk* "what, you gonna buy 'em for me" oozing with sarcasm.
"How much are they"
I told him.....
"Come by the house after work"
"4real?????"

That's so what's up cuz if the tables were turned I don't think I would have put the money up. While driving to his place I was thinking that I would get there and he'd tell me some bs about how something happened to the money and waste my time. But I drove up, he gave me the money, gave Pooka a wave and he said he'll call me later. I didn't even get out the car. That was really nice. I will pay him back Friday and I may just treat him to lunch to show my appreciation. I don't know yet.
I do know that for the month of July I will have to bust my academic butt! Ya heard? I wonder what's gonna happen in class today.....

Paying for those text books is no joke. I almost always sell them back. You get screwed when you buy them and screwed again when they buy the books back. (Shaking my head)

Freaky, I wouldn't say he is a keeper. I can say that I may not be completely done with him as I thought. I feel so materialistic but that was a really nice gesture.

My BIO teacher did the same thing to me the first day I walked into class, she goes "I don't bite." Then she snapped her teeth at me, lol, she ended up being a really funny prof :-)

Today when she walked in the class she said that she was impressed that we all came back cuz normally she has at least 2 that drop after the first day...I won't lie, I was debating it yesterday! LOL

yea, my last day of summer one was today... summer 2 starts july 10th
uhh i would of asked whether it was a loan or a gift so there is clarity. cause you know how us men will bring up something so meaningless that happened ages ago and hold it against you. That way you would have known on whether to do the lunch thing or to pay him back...
