Cost of cd with 4 pix of my mom sleeping, one of my father holding Pooka taken by me, and 22 random pix of my place (eg. sideways pic above) apparently taken by Pooka: $4.18
Balance according to checkbook: $4.22
Actual amount in bank acct. connected to debit card used: $4.12
How I feel cuz now I have to pay the bank 34 bucks for a 6 cent overdraft that's nobodies fault by my own: Priceless

I have always prided myself on being able to stay on top of my game. Having a negative sign in any of my accounts have been nonexistant till this past 2 weeks. I have ALWAYS been in the black, even if it was just a dollar keeping me from going red. I really may be losing what little finanical game I had and it bothers me on the inside. If I keep going like this these NSF fees will swallow some of my major bill money. I won't and can't stand for that.
oh, i'm sorry that happened to you. i was in the red a few weeks ago and it was the first time for me. it had me all depressed. anyway, i'm sure you'll get it all worked out soon. these things happen.
Yeah, I am slowly working myself out of irritation because there is nothing I can do about it and when it comes down to it, it was my fault. Everything happens for a reason, even jacked up stuff like this!
Maybe I would have spent that money at a restaurant that would have gave me some type of illness and killed me! So this overdraft fee saved my life and I didn't even know it!LOL
It's late, I know, I am going to bed soon!
AWWWWWWWWWWWW!! That SUUUUUCKS! Dude, I read that thinking it would be funny. dude, I'd be flipping PISSED!
I have been thinking of ways to put a positive spin on the situation. The one pic of my father holding my daughter is the last picture that I have taken of him. So 30 plus bucks is a good sentimental value for a picture that Pooka can use to know what her grandfather looks like now a days given the fact that we'll most likely never see him in person.
that's funny...i'm trying to get better at that myself...
aint that some mess?
a friend of mine recently had her phone turned off becuase she was 30cent over her bill. She was broke, and it was all she could do to find 30 pennies. And then they wouldn't take her change!!! I gave her five to put on her phone bill.
Sar, you would think we would know how to do simple subtraction right? LOL
Companies be trippin Nay! I would have acted a fool if they turned anything of mine off for 30 cent!!!!
Ouch...As you said, things happen for a reason.
That sucks so bad it swallows! Have you tried calling the bank and getting them to wipe out the fees? I had something like that happen to me once. I was livid! I paid their little fees and told them to close my account. I took my business elsewhere and never looked back.
Luvin, that's one of my favorite quotes.
Southern, that's how banks make their money!
Freaky, funny you should mention that. I was trying to update my blog but blogger isn't trying to let me :-(
I went to my regular branch to transfer money from A to B to get my account back to black. This is the branch I normally use so I know all the tellers and they know me. So I told my teller what happened and she was like...
"Girl, go tell such and such what happened!"
So I did and my other girl flipped the fees for me. My bank has this thing called a courtesy refund that they can do for folks in cases like mine and don't overdraft on the regular. So things all worked out in the end. They will continue to have my business. :-D
yo, we party like nobodies business, lol, if you saw us in action, you'd be like "omg, these ppl are CRAY-ZEE!"
LOL....that sounds like something I would say or do.
I tell ya I be scappin car change together for gas sometimes...but it will all get better soon :)
Now ain't God good?
Having them flip the fees back for you !
but DAMN I know how $34 for nothing feels-
and for 6 cents? AWWWW helllll naw!
