The Run Down....

I read the comments from my last post and if I can't find someone w/a camera phone or digital camera yall gonna have to wait till next week sometime before a pic goes up somewhere on the net of my hair. A digital camera would be a NICE BIRTHDAY GIFT for SOME folks who MAY read my blog who MAY be close enough to me to where getting a camera phone isn't being extravagant,or even to those I used to kick it with but haven't in awhile. I am not a whore, but I still know how to physically say thanks LOL! I am not dropping any obvious hints to any obvious people or reminding folks my birthday is the 25, nope that wouldn't be me....*wink* Now with that typed out...

I went to work then went to class like normal...

Got to class and found out we don't have class tomorrow cuz she gotta go w/her son to court about a speeding ticket and he is under 18...

Also found out that we have a water lab Friday or Monday which means I have to put on a bathing suit! I think I am the cutest thing, except when I am in a bathing suit. I mean some BBW's can pull it off, but I am not that confident yet! Remember that whole Rell, Ghetto Mess scenario...well that scares me! I know my classmate are not gonna be studdin' me cuz some of them got swim gear fears of their own, but still I am the whale of the class and now I gotta so folks just how much whale I am :-(

On that note I lost 5 pounds, but that ain't gonna help me in the immediate short run!

After class I spoke with Dr. Crucial about how I should start getting my volunteer hours in. This ending up being a nice conversation and I respect her so much more now and I understand why she teaches the way she does. She also gave me a lot of encouragement which I needed. The human body is a tough thing to master. Period!

After out talk I go get my tires rotated/balanced/the whole nine. Since I brought the tires brand new from this place, I get free maintenance every so many thousand miles. I had a dentist appt. @ 1:30 so it would not had made much sense to go in for an hour than leave again. The dude who worked on my car said my battery cable was loose so he tightened it and told me with a real serious face that I need oil. When I said okay, he said "No Ms. Nay your next stop has to be to get some oil, it's gonna lock up on you it's so empty" with that same I am not playing face.

Left st8 from the tire place and made it to the dentist on time and they did what they had to do. I go back in two weeks so they can put my crown in. I broke one of my fillings :-(

From the dentist I go to Wally World for a oil change. I drop my keys off and go look around to kill time. I buy Pooka 2 outfits. I get back and my car hasn't been touched, their is one guy doing the manual work, there are 3 employees in regular clothes chatting it up. Since only one guy is doing the work I give him some time. I did hear the manager *one of the three chatting it up* tell someone they were hiring. Then I see the manual labor guy come in for a minute then walk towards the store saying Goodbye to the chatters! I sat one minute and saw another guy come in. In my head I told myself they just had a shift change. Anyways, my patience ran and ran and ran till it couldn't run no more and ran out. I asked the chatters at the counter how many folks were ahead of me and they gave me a number I didn't like so I grabbed some oil, paid for it and told them to give me my keys. As I was putting the oil in my car, the new shift guy pulls up and told me that he was just about to hook me up, but it was too late for any more waiting at that point so I bounced.

I get to work and the let's just say the roof kinda fell in when I was gone. Some folks just don't realize what you do till your away! I didn't even get my purse down before folks were giving me the run down on everything that happened and everything people needed my say so on. All I am gonna say is I am glad I am appreciated. BTW, the gov signed the budget for the employee raises! YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE. This is a kinda scary thing, because if I get the second raise, I will be making too much money to stay where I stay. I am not on section 8 or public housing, but I am apart of a program that is incomed base. So next year when I renew my lease I hope all goes well. But that's an issue I will deal with next year if and when it happens.

Once the drama dies down I check my voice messages. The first few are work related then I hear a familiar voice with a slow Kuntry drawl. In my head I am like WTH he calling me for, he must want something. So I listen to the message and after all the fluff and stuff bs he asked if I would buy him 2 spirals and bring them to him for his class tomorrow! *inhale...exhale* I didn't call him back.

Work is done, I pick Pooka up, we grab a bit of groceries and go home. Pooka is the inventor of the apple and banana sandwich. I cut them up in slices and cut up the bananas *I always think of Gwen Stafani when I write or type that word* and put them in a bowl so Pooka could just reach in and devour. Well Pooka ends up putting a banana circle inbetween 2 apple slices and eating it that way. I tried it and it's good. Taste like any other apple banana combo! Anywho, we eat and I check my messages at home. Of course there is one from Kuntry just saying the fluff and stuff and to call him back. So I debated on calling him then I decided I would call him and give him the reality check, I mean out of all them folks he get tore down with on the regular, out of all his boys, couldn't none of them take him to the store so he can by what he needs???? I mean come on now! How long has he known he been going back to school? I am saying! Ugh! So I call him up and act like I didn't get the message at work.....

In my head I am going Baby??? "chillin"

"what you doing"

"oh, you go to work today"

"for a few hours why"

"I called you at work"

"so what do you want, you called me so you must want something"

"nah nah I was just calling to see how you were *insert more fluff and stuff*"

In my head I am wondering why he didn't ask about the spirals"I'm good ssdd"

I mean really, even if I didn't go back to work and didn't get the message, I would be getting it tomorrow, so why talk like he didn't want nothing?? DUHH! He goes on to tell me about his excitement about his class starting tomorrow and this that and the other. I don't participate very much in the convo and once he gathered that, he told me he'd call me to tell me how class went. I told him that he'll call me when he'll call me. He gave more fluff and stuff about how I think I know everything and that was that.

I don't know everything but when things are predictable, they are predictable.
