Mini Van?

I made it to work yesterday. Slim Shady was running late and I couldn't help but to think she was about to pull the same stunt she did a few years ago and not show up nor call me to tell me she wasn't showing up. So while I was making my backup calls she pulled up. The first thing out her mouth was "you thought I wasn't coming didn't you" in a playful tone. In response I told her that I thought she was gonna pull a stunt like she did a couple years ago on me. She laughed and basically said people always get on her bout that and she is trying to get better about that, but "SS has gotta do SS first". I was kinda surprised she said that. I mean I understand that you got to take care of yourself first, but could we be at least considerate enough to let others know that you can't help others like you say you can?

I spend the day surfing the net for cars and I found a van that this chick is basically giving away because 1) it needs a paint job something bad and 2) she is moving this weekend to another state and don't need the van anymore. According to her add the mechanics of the car are fine and she has the maintenance records. I sent her an email in hopes I could find out what's really good. Then there is an older white man who lives in a part of NC where old money lives that is selling his van for a steal because he just brought a newer version of the van. I am not actually looking for a minivan, it's just the top two deals I found yesterday. Maybe if my aunt was serious about helping me put down on a car, she can use that down payment money to completely pay for something! That would be nice. I called my insurance folk and asked how much my insurance would increase, for one I was told 10 bucks a month and the other was 15! SWEET! So I may have another title in my name by next week! If I do, I am still keeping my car and will get it fixed.

When I buy a car I like the have a man with me. Not that I don't know a little sumtin sumtin about cars, it just seems like things go smoother when you have a man with you. So I called LAL and he answered da phone like he just pulled out from a release. I hope that's not what it really was, if so, he shouldn't have answered the phone!!!! He said he'd call me back and of course he didn't so I called Kuntry. He said he'd ride out with me and look under the hood, but I am not sure if I want aunt Diva and him to meet. The family grapevine would have a fit! Ladynay messing with a street dude??? Even tho' we not talking like that, I am sure the report back to the fam would be colorful. LAL is a big teddy bear, computer geek looking type dude and that's what my fam is used to seeing and hearing about me be with so I don't mind aunt Diva giving a report, no matter how false it is on LAL. I know it's petty but I don't feel like being on the grapevine no time soon. LOL

All that really matters is that I have my own transportation soon!
