One of the drawbacks of emailing folks...*more venting*

A few nights ago T-lo called me at 3:11am. I sent him an email saying something like....hmmmmm I wonder who called me at 3 in the morning....being funny. He hit me back with smiley faces telling me he'd been drinking and he apologized. Me, STILL BEING FUNNY, replied something to the effect of....oh now I am only gonna get calls when your drunk huh? with a smiley face.

How about I just got an email back about how sensitive women are and some crap about how I don't call him!!!!!

Huh? What? Who? Where? Huh......

My guess is that he thought I was being for real. I know just as well as he does that we don't talk on the phone like that. We've only been talking a lot recently because he needed a sounding board. I hardly call or talk ANYONE on the phone! I am not a phone person and neither is he!

Who's the sensitive one?

I swear one of the drawbacks of this internet communication revolution is that you can't hear how a person "says" what they "say"....*sigh*

Yep, that's a definite drawback of online communication. I've been on both ends of that situation before. It can be a pain.

yeah, face to face communication is always best and the most reliable.

but, he clearly felt guilty about how he'd been treating you which led to his responding the way he did.
