I sorta don't believe it but I am not complaining! On with the randomness....
One of my blogger buddies shared a story recently that kinda bothered me like if one of my friends told me the story. They basically fell in love with someone who unknowingly was married w/a nice big family at home. Cheating is not cool period, but the thing that took the cake was that the married party is a regular at cheating and its never just about sex. They have to have you emotionally, spiritually, mentally, etc...all that to be worth while. UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Like I said, it struck a cord in me reading about it like it was coming from a friend. They are handling the situation quite well but it still irks me that people are so manipulative. Then people wonder why its hard for some folks to trust! Cuz of folks like the married party! Again....UGH!
Today is Pooka's dental check up. She has been a regular teeth brusher so I am not expecting a bad report. I am definitely going to address the adult tooth growing in and hopefully I will get a good report about that too.
Mommy keeps asking me if I am excited about Jamaica, I am not. She asked me if I have started packing! I guess she forgot who her daughter is or something cuz I am usually the one to start packing a day or two before a trip. LOL I am glad she is excited about it though. Just knowing she is hyped about it makes me feel good. My grandmother has started to pack and shop for the trip as well. They are both something else.
Tomorrow I go to get my hair twisted. Hallelujah Amen. It is definitely time! From this point on I am going every 3-4 weeks :-) YAY! Since Pooka will already be at the drop off center I think I am going to head for the mall after I get my hair done and pick up some undergarments. It has seemed that some stuff that I know I used to have are missing and a lot of what is left is not all that spring/summery so I am going to hopefully handle that. I am praying that some big girl store is having a killer sale Saturday. I also need to check Claires and Spencers out for some new toe rings. YAY!
There was a plan to go to a birthday party tonite for lsbnmom's little girl but it got cancelled. I should still get a gift regardless. My friend mentioned me seemingly having many lesbian friends. I used to have more s8 and local girlfriends but they all seemed to find a way to hurt me in some form or fashion so I had to put them to the curb. Most of it involved sexual relationships with Babydaddy so the ones that were left were the lesbians. ROFL! I laugh but it is what it is. What makes it sorta bad is that Babydaddy is connected in ways to my lesbian friends and no I am not going into detail. Where is my therapist? *sigh*
I have made the decision not to go to class this morning. There is an honors program going on today and the campus is strongly encouraged to attend. My teach says that he is still having class but I really doubt he will so I am not going. I already know what he is going over and I have only missed one day of class when we actually had class so I am st8.
Yesterday I got a lot of work that has kinda been stagnant off my desk. If I had a camera I would take a picture of what my work accomplished. Normally my desk is organized chaos. I know where stuff is but if someone has to get something off my desk there is no logic to my paper system on my desk and nothing is labeled. I am surprised my supervisor was able to find what she found the other day! LOL So with that in mind and knowing that I am going to be taking some time off soon I made it easier for people to find stuff if they need it while I am out.
Yesterday we had cake and ice cream for our birthday's of the month. I didn't eat ONE slice of cake!!! Not one! I did have 2 regular sized scoops of vanilla ice cream in a cup topped w/a little bit of Cola, but I didn't have any cake. Any other month I would have had 2 pieces. I am very proud of myself. Gotta congratulate myself on the small things. :-)
Other than getting my head right and going to the mall...on a weekend...OMG kill me now...my weekend is going to be pretty uneventful. I plan on having Pooka and I hitting the trail first thing Saturday morning! Can't wait! Really! I look forward to it.

That's just like going to Wal-Mart on a Saturday afternoon which I made the mistake of doing last week....on Easter weekend. WTF was I thinking!!!!???? To top it all off I had a shopping cart from hell. I couldn't swap it out because I had already put a big bag of dog food on the bottom and I wasn't about to struggle to swap that out especially since my boyfriend was at the house with a f'd up ankle. Needless to say, I had to suck it up. I ended up just parking the dang thing and walking to get what I need from each isle. Remind me to never do that ish again!!!!!

I feel you on the married people cheating and also single folks screwing around with married folk. I had a friend who basically thrived on it (that and dealing with people who were in a "relationship"). I always told her to each his own but uhhh, don't call me when you ass gets shot in the face. lol lol lol
Nah, just Saturday ARgal. Easter weekend I stayed away from stores esp. the grocery store and places like Walmart/Target/Kmart. You was a good one!
It just bothers me that seemingly good people get treated the way they do sometimes. The person didn't know they were dealing with a married person. They believed the words they were told, which is what you SHOULD be about to trust in a relationship.
I already got on my soapbox about people that intentionally pursue people already in relationships...don't need my pressure to go up anymore.
My heart goes out to the person who was with the married butt whole.

I have similar feelings about males, straight, gay, and otherwise. I just can't find it in my heart to trust them.

Nope it was a Costco vanilla cake with a cheese cake filling. The cake is actually quite yummy after you take the icing off. That's why I count it as an accomplishment cuz I know it was good and I resisted.

weekend mall trips are horrific. hurray for trips!! whoooo!! you have former friends who have slept w/baby daddy? that is some bullshit. cheating is one of my BIG issues. ugh. a friend of a friend was messing with a married man and had the nerve to stalk him when he called it off!! are you insane?!! (yes) when will people learn you can't build a relationship on lies?

It's just that that person is not washing your draws, that's all. Kind of like the nice poetry and philosophicizin that people do in jail. Not an authentic relationship.

I like to think that I have quite a bit of self control, HOWEVER there is no way I can resist cake or any other tantilizing sweet treat. So you should definitely be breaking your arm to pat yourself on the back!
