Merry Christmas

I had 3 whole days to do a lot of things, but I didn't. I spent most of my vacation under a blanket or comforter. I loved it! Pooka did too!

Friday went pretty much like I planned it on my entry. I took the kid with me to see Happy Feet. We got there kind of early so we went to the restroom and saw something disgusting! Someone had made a movement all on the wall and floor of one of the stalls!!!! Now I seen it on TV and movies but never ever in real life! Then whomever it was tried to cover it up with a lot of tissue! Now how in the world can you decorate a wall and the floor like that unintentionally? Now as a squatter in public places, I'd admit sometimes my aim maybe a tad off and some urine gets on the seat, but I clean it up and keep it moving. This person had this ish on both sides of the wall beside the commode! UGH! The movie employee came in and I guess it was her turn to clean the bathroom. She came in while Pooka and I was in the stall and I heard the sister go "OH HELLLLLLLLL NAW". Thank God she saw me and Pooka come out the handicap stall so she knew I nor my child had any parts of that mess right there! As we waited in the lobby I saw the employee leave the bathroom and get one of her managers. I don't know how that problem got solved cuz soon after our theater was starting to seat folks.

At first I thought we were going to have the theater to ourselves and we did for awhile then a little girl and her aunt came in. Pooka and the lil girl just hit it off and was talking like they knew each other for a long time or something. I wasn't feeling all that social but I was nice and spoke with the aunt a bit. Right b4 the previews loads of people with long lines of children started to file in and irk me (and the aunt). I mean one couple sat right in front of Pooka and her new buddy. The theater doesn't have stadium seating so the couple blocked the kids view. Fortunately the new buddy was kinda loud and said "Aunt so and so, that man sat in my way and I can't see the TV", the couple moved. :-) Then when the movie started someones baby started crying and just would not stop. I kept my composure because we were at a kids movie after all, but it was wearing out. The aunt made a comment loud enough for the parent/guardian to hear and they took the sobbing baby out the theater. The movie itself was cute. Very cute. At the end I will admit that my first thought was "that's it?" then I had to realise the movie was almost 2 hours long.

Saturday I went back on the trail *yay* and realized that I need some new walking shoes or something because my feet hurt pretty bad when I got back home. It didn't kick my butt like I was expecting it to, but it did feel like the trail was never going to end at some points. While Pooka and I was laid up on the couch watching one of the many movies we watched this weekend we have a conversation that pretty much went like this...

P: Your having a baby soon *not asking, telling*

L: Who said that? *thinking someone from daycare said it*

P: I said it.

L: Why do you say that?

P: Because your getting fatter.

L: *silence*

Now once I took a minute and got myself together I explained to my child how I was not with child and how it's not nice to call people fat even if it is true. I already know she is right and I already got the correction plan in place, but it never feels good to hear something like that especially when you are not expecting to hear it.

Sunday was chilling chilling and more chilling. I finally watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from beginning to end. I liked it! Maybe next weekend I'll sit down and make myself watch my Memoirs of a Geisha dvd. I think I have watched more movies from start to finish in 2007 than I have since the new millennium started! Yay me! LOL I also found out that I can now text people! When I first got my phone I didn't have the option to text folks back. They could only text me. Whenever I tried to reply to one in the past the phone gave me a message that basically said girl you know you can't do that! So when I got an Happy Easter text from my friend, don't ask me what made me try to reply back, but I did and the phone beeped and said "Message sent" WTH???? So I texted someone else and they texted me right back and I was just too through! LOL I wonder how long ago they gave this ability to me? I know I didn't ask for it. I was cool the waymy service worked cuz I hardly used my cell anyway. So anywho, I sent out a mass Happy Easter text and I got a bunch back. I was tickled! The only thing I can't do text wise on my phone is text someones email. I tried to text my own email and the phone laughed at me. Oh well. I guess if I wait long enough I'll be able to do that too :-)

Monday has started and I really think that I am going to come in to work late. I can't really think of a reason though. I don't want to say I am ill cuz there is a bug going around the job. I don't want to use the appointment joint cuz Pooka really has one on Friday. Maybe I can use the overslept joint? I mean this was a holiday weekend. *shrug* If I don't come up with something that sits well with me I'll just take my butt to work and stare at the screen till it's time to go to class. Maybe catch up on who blogged this weekend since I didn't really do the internet thing that much. Who knows.

I bet you went to work didn't you? You're such a goody good. LOL!

So basically while annoyed at the movies you set with a ghetto mom and child who probably annoyed others just as much. Now I suppose they're going to start stalking you and slowly but surely start molding you and Pooka. :o)

I don't blame the worker who saw that stall. If it was up to me to clean it crap would still be on the walls.

Where's my Christmas present? X(

I seen someone actually do it in the sink...at the same movie theater bathroom too now that I think of it! The girl couldn't make it to the stall so she hit the first thing she saw which was the sink! UGH!

I'm really sorry that Pooka had to see the bathroom fiasco. That kind of thing can scar a child for life..eeeewwwwwww
