Taking care of business

I went to work yesterday and I am glad/not glad I did. Many of my team members chose to take Monday off for whatever reason, probably some of the reasons I was thinking Monday morning, so I and the ones that did show had to keep the flow up. I am glad I went in to help keep it moving, but not glad to work so hard. My days pay was earned yesterday if not any other day. Between that and trying to get my school stuff in order I was just plain busy.

I got a 100 on another paper I pulled out my butt. That made me smile. I can't wait for this semester to be over. I am registered for Physics II over the summer. From what I hear it is easier than Physics 1 and even easier if I take it over the summer so we will see. There is some issues with the labs that I have attempted to quickly get solved with the Physics department but so far nothing has happened.

My summer school application has been submitted, hopefully I can get some grant money for the summer. It is usually first come first serve and I am about 2-3 weeks behind of when they started taking applications. You can't apply for summer school financial aid until you meet w/your advisor and register for your classes. That started mid-late March. Then the system we use to register was down for a little while so nobody could get in. So hopefully there is still something nice for me. I will find out in about 2 weeks. Taking out another loan is really a last resort type thing.

I am still learning, bare with me if you want to. People are being so patient with me and I am thankful.

There are openings for some PTA officers, part of me wants to throw my name in the hat! Then the other LARGER part asks where am I gonna find the time to dedicate to the PTA? The time off that I do have to relax and not really be responsible for anything is very precious, why give some of that time away? There are plenty stay at home parents that can give those positions the time and effort needed. Just stay a member that helps out when you can and call it a day. Voluntarily adding another responsibility right is not a logical choice to be making right about now.

It looks like you have been busy. The classes that I took over the summer were either extremely hard for me because I wasn't catching things as fast as I should, or extremly easy because I was flying right through them. Hopefully you can knock the class out without a problem.

The PTA is another issue altogether. I am a member, but I wouldn't take on being an officer.

I was yesterday. Today everyone is back where they are supposed to be :-)

We'll see how easy the class is.

I feel you, I just had the thought.

Busy isn't the word for you. Now I feel guilty for partying all weekend and having 5 days off.

No you don't stop lying! ROFL! You don't gotta brag! *playful eyeroll*

I am going to have me 5 days off, just watch me!

I knew you'd be a goody goody and go to work.

Hopefully, your class(es) are as easy as you think they'll be.

Um, what are you still learning? If it involves spanking then I can probably teach you a thing or two. :oD What?

Yeah the goodie goodie prevailed.

This summer is Physics II and Swimming I. Swimming should not be hard outside of being in a bathing suit 3 times a week.

I am still learning to give folks the benefit of the doubt. Not every st8 woman is out to backstab me, not every brotha that tries to get close to me is all about the nani...stuff like that.

you are so right every str8 woman is not out to back stab you. I have to tell myself that. A LOT LATELY. I you are going to knock that physics class out the box. I loved having my mom on the pta. at the same time she was overly stressed. It is so great that you are even a member. So cool.

I hate summer classes because most of my summer classes sucked infested monkey balls.

Women are something else sometimes but you can't generalize people based on people of your past as easy as it is to do, you miss out on possibly great things and people that way :-(

YAY! You think it's cool to be on the PTA. I wanted my mom to be on it but she wasn't down back in the day!

Ewwww why they gotta be infested? I had some great summer courses. LOL

how about minor volunteering? like you're not the chair of anything, but you help when you can? that'd be more convenient w/your busy work/school/pooka life. that would be so cute lil miss pta.

Summer classes also seemed the easiest too me.

If you feel like you don't have enough time to be a PTA officer, don't worry about it.

Yeah, most teachers kinda lay back a tad during the summer from my experience.

I am not going to run, it was just a thought. :-)
