This weekend I watched a friends puppy and two year old. Both of which are currently working on the potty training thing. Granted, Pooka is still having night time accidents and a rare day time one, but man! I forgot for a hot second what is was like to have to remember to make sure what/whomever had to be where ever kinda on a schedule. The baby wasn't so bad, but the puppy was interesting. I had a couple of accidents to pick up in the house. :-( Guess I didn't leave the dog outside long enough *shrug*
Other than that sitting was like chilling at the crib on a Saturday...hanging low and studying. One perk was the high speed wireless internet my friend has. It definitely made my connection seem extremely sluggish. I got a lot done.
What else? Ummmm there was a turtle on my friends welcome mat! It was a baby turtle, maybe 6 or 7 inches long but I don't really do wild animals like that, so I quickly closed the door and stayed in the house. I let my daughter take the dog outside that time. LOL! She wanted to pick the thing up when she saw it and I liked to have had a fit!
On the work front it's been a day. Part of my job is to listen to angry and/or upset people. Normally I don't let it get me hyped or whatever, but today at one point I was getting it on the phone, voicemail, and in letter form back to back to back. To the point I've said time out and now I am currently blogging. I just wish folks would understand that there is a process to what we do and to do our part they have to do theirs!
I am pretty much still working and studying all the time now. Thank God I only have about 2 more weeks of this course. I take swimming this month and I am not tripping about wearing a suit in front of folks. Hopefully my thought patterns will stay that way. Maybe once the class ends and I don't have to stress about Monday morning exams I will blog more. We will see.
P.S. My birthday is next month. I wanted to do something nice, like get out the country again via cruise, but my money says that I need to find something else to do. I was home last year and if I recall it was just another day, just like I wanted it to be. Well this year I don't want it to be just another day. I just haven't figured out what I wanted to do just yet. *sigh*

come to Atlanta. You will have fun.....
Puppy accidents are annoying at best. Lucky for you that you only had to deal with it for one evening. LOL @ you having a fit at your daughter wanting to pick up the turtle. It was probably for the best...it could have been a snapping turtle. Those suckas don't play.
DNT, I don't know if I am going to travel. I am already traveling 3 times b4 my day so I think I might just treat myself to something local. *sigh*
Argal, I know right! Whenever I get my house I already know Pooka will be responsible for dog training! LOL I don't know what snapping turtles look like but I've heard of 'em. I'd sure hate to had stomped that turtle for biting my child...
Makes you want to have a puppy and another kid doesn't it? You can admit it.
Stomping turtles? Somebody is going to call PETA on you for that. I could understand you stomping it if it was a kitten but a turtle? That's just plain mean.
Hope your birthday isn't a suck day.
A puppy is like having another child.
I don't do wild animals either. I leave that for someone else or Animal Control.
My birthday is next month too. I want to do something but have no idea what.
