and I can't think of what others would say at this very moment so I'll stop! LOL
But, I got an A in my Eval and Measurement class. I honestly can say that I don't feel like I earned it. There is an area on the computer that keeps track of your grades and a few of my grades were not so stellar. When all the grades except the final and 4 assignments were up I placed what I thought my grades would honestly be and came up with a B being my final grade. I was okay with that. Then as he posted grades this weekend one by one I was stunned! Deep down I think he HAD to have curved those grades. I won't complain like I would if I would have gotten a D, I'll just be thankful and keep it moving.
Physics starts tomorrow! Happy Happy Joy Joy *eyeroll* I'm thankful the pain will only last 5 weeks compared to 3 months.
This weekend I went to Common Denominator's graduation. I swear she gets on my nerves more often than not, but I went. It was a nice ceremony. They had 2 student speakers and the commencement speaker. You would think the crowd would have been bored to tears but all 3 speakers were great! I can only hope the speaker(s) at my graduation will be as engaging. Sunday I was chillin. Pooka and I got our Wii on a few times and my left shoulder and bicep are sorta irritated, but it was fun. Oh yeah, my laptop caught a virus and died. The whole virus catching thing was my fault so I can't be but so sad. I have 2 desktops, well I have one and Pooka has one, and the laptop made me hook them up. Why is Pooka's computer better than mine? I mean really! I gotta buy this hub and that hub and all her stuff was already ready already! LOL! Since today is payday I am going to go to the goodwill and see if they have a small sturdy desk to put in Pooka's room. What her computer is on now is sturdy, just too low to the floor. I am thankful that I have folks to hand Pooka and I free tech stuff. Me buying my own laptop in the fall is going to hurt my feelings! LOL
This afternoon I meet my subject for the research study. I am excited about it. I am not that excited about having to wash my hair 3 times a week for the next 3 months but whatever, I'll get over it. One major benefit is that I will definitely be working out at least 3 times a week and I am slowly forcing myself away from fast food again. It's just not healthy for me or Pooka. So I should see some physical changes in me in a month or two. I'm not even counting me working and having access to gym equipment 5 days a week(whenever they put me on). With all that going I have no choice but to get better physically. YAY! I am thankful for the opportunity to do research therapeutic research, get paid, and get healthier.

I don't know about the birthday post. My birthdays typically suck and I'm not talking the good kind that ends with my eyes rolled up in the back of head, weak, and mildly dehydrated either. :o(

Congrats on getting the "A". I hear you about not complaining about it even if you weren't sure you earned it. It definitely could've been worse.
Most memorable b-day....good or bad. I'd have to say my first trip to Vegas in 2003. It was a bit bittersweet since it reminded me of the trip I never took with my ex-girlfriend and how in retrospect I wished I had gone, especially considering the good time I had. I enjoyed seeing Zumanity that night as well.

Mo, the next class is Physics and since you're fairly new to my boring life...I prayed for a C in Physics one and it's the one class that I literally cried in class cuz I was so frustrated.

Um, so yea - congrats on the A. Isn't it just wonderful when you strive sooo damn hard and you can clearly see your efforts paying off? That's good - so congrats.
Um, about that birthday thing. I don't know. I never really do it up quite that big for my birthday. Although when I turned 21 I did put on one hell of a party at an art gallery here in chicago. I think there were about 200 people there. My mother was actually the bartender. It was a fun time. A great party - and you know what? 6 years later some people are STILL talking about the party. I think I may celebrate again when I turn 30. This is huge for me simply because I've never celebrated while I was growing up. So, now that I'm grown, I think it's time to start recognizing the mere fact that I've been given yet another year to get more things accomplished.

I wash my hair about 2-3 times/week now. The summer is cruel, do ya hear me??!! Not only is it hard to breathe with the humidity but working out (especially outside) wreaks havoc on the hair follicles (read sweat, lol) so I'm pretty much forced to. I actually enjoy it as it's relaxing to me. Just think, it could be worse....you could be using a shoe shine rag to shine a bald head....:-)
