Today has been one of those days. I am not really feeling myself. It's a phase, it will pass. On most days I am pretty comfortable in my skin...today is not one of those days *shrug* I looked at myself in a patients mirror as I waited for them to finish using the restroom and wanted to cry. I didn't. After I blog this I am gonna pep up and "Just Dance" till my body says stop.
My very last patient gave me a compliment that helped me feel a tad better. As I was finishing our session her PA (physician's assistant) came in and asked them how they were doing. The patient instructed the PA to look at me. The PA did and repeated the question. To which the patient said "didn't looking at her make you feel better? She always makes me feel better". I had to smile. I knew that compliment was from God, don't ask how, just knew.
But anywho....
My 31st birthday is on Monday! I was planning a trip to the beach but I have changed my mind. There are a couple of lakes much closer that I can sit out in the shade and just process my thoughts. Watching flowing water helps me clear my mind and reset.
I was thinking that for my birthday on my blog I would bring back the "Ask Anything" post. No one that I usually read, when I do read blogs, has done one in awhile so I am doing it! So from now through Sunday night I will take all questions. If my lurkers or anyone else wants to email the question vs. posting it on my blog my email is lanique57@hotmail.com. Early Monday morning I will hopefully throw up my Happy Birthday to me post and answer any questions I may or may not get. If I get more than 4 questions (3 plus 1) I will make myself be satisfied, but 31 questions would be AWESOME! I already have the title...31 years and 31 answers! LOL!

Hope it cools down a bit. Try to take a dip in the lake between the water watching.

What a great idea! Happy early birthday! What the patient said was special. I think it was God too.
When you start making those phat paychecks, what is one of the first things you want to buy for you or your daughter? What other goals/ plans do you have for your life?
