Thursday....

Wow what a difference a day makes! I know the gas man told me the prices were gonna jump, but he didn't say within a few hours. Everyone is feeling the pinch and I pray that those with tight budgets can make it through all this mess.

My admin (1 of the big bosses) is gone to meet with the Big Dog and Deputy Big Dog to discuss some issues. My supervisor told me that she wouldn't be surprized if they started us on a 4 day work week.

Between the gas prices jumping toward 4 and 4 plus dollars a gallon....the fact that some of our gas stations will run out of gas....Katrina and all her mess....the violence level getting worse in Iraq and round those parts....and my mini insignificant situation at home I would think that the world is spinning out of control in the last few days! I will try and see that the cup is half full, even though it's very easy to turn on the computer/tv/radio and get depressed.

.....and this too shall pass......
