I didn't get a chance to read any blogs yesterday and prolly won't today :-( I will catch up with everyone this weekend....
This weekend is father's day weekend so if your a real father *not just by depositing your sperm and bouncing* Happy Father's Day. Also if your in a fatherish type position, Happy Father's Day!
I am still debating whether to call my father. He hasn't really said or performed like my father so why should I send him well wishes? However Kuntry's father passed and he gave me the whole cherish them while they are living, he is still your father spill and he is right.....to an extent....
My "father" is my grandfather. He has basically given up on life. I know I'll call him, even if he is too drunk to remember I called.
Again, Happy Father's Day to all it applies too!

I'm debating whether or not to make the call to the donor. I don't think I will. But I will give a holla out to my uncles and be sure to go by my granddaddy's grave. He was my dad. If the spirit moves me I might even get my mother's husband a card or something.

Personally i pick up when my father calls, that's a lot to me... seriously its an effort so its enough, no call on any "special day" (birthday, father's day, new years, xmas, or anything else..)
i'll call my godfather though :)

I hate that..."you only get one father" speech. Hell he only has one eldest son. Not this year
I hate hearing about people having bad experiences with their fathers, because I have the bestest daddy in the world :-)
Me and my sister are giving him a barbeque.
My father is not the best of fathers. on the other hand he isn't the worst of fathers either. Well wishes doesn't cost you a penny (unless you dont have long distance) and it makes him feeel good. It may inspire him to become more of a father, who knows? But you should cherish them, last mother's day was one of the loneliest days. and you never know when somebody's time is going to be up
