I am supposed to be close to heading out the door to start the day, but I actually slept through the night and woke up late! LOL I was having a really good dream but I can remember is that I won a Pathfinder truck. I was doing that oh my goodness I never won anything in my life thing. I don't know anything else about the dream. This'll be quick cuz I have yet to wash my butt yet...which is okay if I am running late cuz it's not like someone is scheduled to pick me up at a certain time....I love my van! Pooka loves the van too. She wanted to sleep in it the other day! I thought that was cute!
Yesterday I gave Slim Shady some money for her taking me to work and back that ONE DAY okay, it was a day and a half. She did take me home that day my supervisor sent someone in the work van to get me. But SS gave me the money back and told me we were even? I was trying to force her to take the money cuz I know how she is and I don't want no crap down the road. I usually compensate for services provided soon after they are provided, especially w/her. period. She finally told me to keep the money cuz she may need me soon. I gave her the look that asked how and she told me that her car peeps said they may come repo her car! I may be wrong but she hasn't made her first monthly payment yet! I know she couldn't have made 2, she got the car about a week or 2 before my car went down! If her stuff does get snatched and she needs me for a ride, I would call her up at like 7:00 and tell her that I can't pick her up or not even call her at all. She's done both to me. But I know me, I won't do it.
Today I have to go up to the university. They are being their typical selves and messing up. I tried calling on the phone and was basically on hold all day. So that means I got to go up there physically to get the job done. I don't know if I should wear my professional don't mess with me gear or my street don't mess with me gear. Why we got to make this complicated?
Well it's now past the time I usually leave the house, guess I should wake up the child. Hmmm. Or maybe I should play sick. I don't know, but my lack of motivation to go to work needs to change. What makes it so bad is it's not just me. One lady is about to retire, the chick she is training to do her job has one toe out the door*nobody knows but me*, then there are a few like me who are in school and once we get that degree we'll soon be out, if not working in our career choice, than something closer to it! For me, if I can't get on as a PT or PTA, I would just work in like a hospital or nursing home till my time comes. That way I am gaining more and more experience in the right time of environment ya dig.
Okay I am really need to start my day now..

i'm also running late this morning. but, it's actually ok because my work hours are pretty flexible.
i would suggest wearing your professional, don't mess with me clothes. then proceed to tear 'em up with your sharp tongue. (that's what i do, anyway).
as for "just" working in a hospital or nursing home--- never settle. if you want to be a PT or PTA, you'll get there.
Yeah, I got on my business clothes. I won't have to be "ethnic" unless they make me go there.
What I meant by the just working in a hospital is that I will be leaving this job whether there is a position open for me where I want to be at that time or not. The hospital is always hiring folks and I would rather be working there as an intake specialist *which is not what I want to do career wise* or something than being here. At the very least I would then be in an environment that I need to be in to help me grow.
It's crazy how we are too tired to start our days, but not too tired to blog...It's true, we are addicts!
We can't help it! Before the blog thing it was needing to check my email. Not like I couldn't check my email a half hour later at work, but it still had to be done as part of the morning routine! LOL
I just reread my post and sentences like my last one make me laugh!

Nay, girl the place she got it from is shady so I am not surprized. She put her moms name on the car so she should be good to go. I don't quite understand it, but it's not my issue to figure out. LOL
For the first time NCCU was right and I was wrong. They didn't explain something to me earlier. We worked the issue out. I'll just blame it on lack of knowledge on my part.
