Under any other scholastic endeavor a 43% on anything would be cause for me to have a chat with the professor. But I am actually ok with this. Dr. Hype came in the classroom yesterday and the first thing he did was list a bunch of numbers on the board. Then he passed back exam one. The purpose he did it that way is so when we got our test back we saw how we did compared to the class. Now allow me to break this down. There are 62 students in the class, 51 took the test, SEVEN people made a grade of 70% or higher and the highest grade was 87%. Since 51 took the test, whatever grade number 26 was was the median....which was me at 43%. 25 people got grades under me and 25 got over me. Out of the 25 that got over me only 7 passed. So yeah, I don't feel that bad. LOL If the tears that fell from me and ole girls eyes and the frustration on our faces from a few days ago didn't tell him we wasn't on the same page with him. These test grades sure showed him. I mean the lowest grade was an 11%! He found us a tutor, thank God!
The insurance company of the chick who caused the accident and I made an appointment to have the van looked over by one of their people and to cut me a check for what they think it will cost to fix. I hope my long distance mechanic can fix it for a lot less so I could use the extra to get the other stuff I want done to the van done, but we will see tomorrow when he comes to look at the van and the car. If he can't fix it for less than what the check is I am niggariggin' the van! LOL I am going to get him to straighten the bumper I got as much as he can then bang the area's that prevent me to open the back down so they would be room. Heck I might just tell him to do that anyways, I know it would be a lot cheaper. I mean the paint is peeling on other parts of the van anyways so it would look kinda crazy having this older model van with a brand new bling blinging bumper on it right? LOL I also have the option of buying another booster seat on ole girls tab. But I really don't need one. The impact wasn't that severe and there isn't much to a booster seat. If Pooka was in a car seat I would probably got another one.
I got a rain check for my massage. Some things came up but he did call and we chit chatted for a few minutes which we never really do. I kinda like this new and improved version of T-Lo. He is being the person I wished he was about 2 years ago when I met him, but I am not getting my hopes up and forcing myself not to think to much about it because I know once everything is right again in his world, he is going to disappear. When your world is full of chaos you hold on to what's familiar and stable a tad bit tighter. So I am just enjoying the attention while it lasts.
