Trick or Treat

Thank goodness Trick or Treating season is complete. If Pooka asked me one more time to put her butterfly costume on and get some candy, I was gonna wrap her up cocoon style and hang her up in her closet! LOL This year we did Halloween differently. Every year since Pooka's been born we have attended Party Girls kick butt Halloween party. Halloween is one of her favorite holidays so she goes all out. Given the circumstances there was no party this year. I wonder if there are going to be any more in the coming years? This time of year is going to be different for her for now on. *sigh* Pooka and I went to the local mall and trick or treated there. Pooka had a blast and even saw one of her old daycare buddies, this time female. All I saw was some little barbie cheerleader roll up and hug my child. As she walked away I watched her trail back to her parents and then it all clicked. I didn't recognize the girl but I knew the parents.

Anyways, we got our trick or treat on and then went to MickeyD's cuz I wasn't cooking. I will be cutting fast food waaaay down in the program, but last night was just me being lazy. I make my order, pay, then drive up to get it. The black girl gives me my order than gives me a milkshake I didn't order. When I open my mouth to tell her it wasn't mine I get 2 words out and she hits me with a look that said that she knew I didn't order it but take it! I tell her thank you and drive off. Heaven knows I didn't need a milkshake. I paid for it last night too. Why can't milk be my friend?

Why couldn't it be Veterans Day so I could get back in the bed?

I am glad Pooka enjoyed Halloween.
Milk is not my friend either, so dont feel bad. Now that I think of it, there arent a lot of foods that are my friends anymore.LOL

Mel, I may have to look into that! LOL Pooka is a hugging machine, with those that she likes of course! LOL I guess when we get older the idea of a big bag a goodies at the end of the night doesn't get us that extra boost of adrenaline! :-P

DNT, I don't know how you do it girl! I really don't! I'd be cramping and breaking out all the time if I couldn't have some of the things you can't have! LOL

TTD, yeah I work for "them" :-( I am sure you have plenty of days off that we don't! LOL She didn't ask about the party, but she did ask about her godsiblings costumes, not them, their costumes, lol, so your mostly right.

Southern, the casino huh? That's a pretty cool tradition, you must like them a lot to hang out with them on your day off! LOL Just wait till O get his first big bucket full of candy from running around the neighborhood, he'll be hooked! LOL

Mickey D's does that to a lot of folks, myself included! :-(

hook-ups are always a good thing. too bad yours made you a little ill! Milk (at least the regular kind) doesn't do my body good either.

McDonald's... it always seems to run right through me.

yes, Pooka is quite the little hugger, isn't she? :-) that's cute...

yes, why couldn't it be Veteran's Day? i don't get off work, but that is my birthday! :-)

My thought pattern is that the person b4 me ordered it then changed their mind *shrug* I don't know.

I miss my child life, no bills, no relationship drama, everyone just played and the only reason on one wanted to play with you is because you were "out there" or stank (I felt so bad for George, the pee pee boy)....nothing to worry about in life but missing my favorite cartoon on Saturdays! LOL

I need a hug. When can Pooka fit me in? I can provide references of my huggableness or is it huggability upon demand. :o)

Hook-ups are a good thing. I could use a hook-up right about now.

Shhh! Don't you mention "them". You know "they" are monitoring your communications and brainwaves.

LOL, I'll check her appt. book and get back with you.

What's really said about "them" is they do monitor everything you do with their equipment:-(

Halloween would have been so much more fun this year if I had some kids in my life...The "kids" I did spend the night with don't count.
