Nothing

That's pretty much what I did this weekend. No hair appointment. No movie. No exercise. No quality paper to submit.

I got up with the chick who was supposed to consult me about my hair. Turns out I was right. Next friday Jan. 26 was really next friday Feb. 3. It's all good tho'. As long as I can get some good advice soon on this head of mine I can wait another week.

Even though Pooka didn't do anything bad, we didn't go to the movies. I was under the impression that the 2 movie passes where good any day b4 they expired. When I looked I could only cash in Mon-Thurs! Granted, I have the money to pay for 2 seats at the theater, some popcorn and "pop" *ROFL, sorry yall I'll stop picking* I wanted to go for free.

No exercise. Right now Jan. 29 I am at the highest weight I have ever been in my life. This would include the time when I was 9 months pregnant. I have been trying to go the other way but it's not working. I am trying very hard no to get depressed about it but to be honest I don't know. I can feel it in my body that I've gained way too much weight and I hate it. I remember years ago walking in the mall with BD and I told him if I ever weighed such and such for him to slap me hard. Well now I am way over such and such weight and no one is here to slap me but me. Hopefully I pass the background check for volunteering at the Y. I signed up to be a volunteer there so I could get my 100 hours for class. That should start me back to being active.

All weekend, mainly yesterday, I've been trying to write this 2 page, double spaced, 12 font paper and I had a hard time. Stop looking at the screen like that! I know that that is a cake walk normally, but I wasn't sure about what I was supposed to be writing about. I don't have any numbers of anyone in my class so I could not go that route. I basically found a bunch of broad and generic quotes on the topics and I added some transitions to it and voila, there's two pages of crap! It's hard to write quality material when you don't really know what you're supposed to write about.

Another one of my associates, slowly turning friend, has started a blog this month. I am not sure if I want to read it or not and I am not exactly sure why. Maybe I don't want my image of her tainted. She put down that her blog is about her and her thoughts the good and the bad. I don't know if I'm ready for bad. We'll see.

Dont worry about theweight. I know you can do it. Girl we are in it together. I have had trouble with papers like that too. you got this....

I love me some matinees and not taking along moochers (i.e. a date) saves money too. LOL!

I haven't met anyone in person who has admitted to having a blog. :o(

Doesn't it seem to take forever to write the shortest papers, lol

I also sometimes don't like when folks announce they are bloggin. Mobetta did that and has done two posts, lol lol It ain't for everybody.

DNT, LOL! Your silly! Seems like everyone did the paper wrong so I don't feel so bad. We were supposed to have an interview in it! I had no clue! hahahahahaha

Freaky, I guess going solo would save a dime, and if you ate right before the movie you'd save high concession prices too!

I'm pretty sure someone will tell you about theirs sooner or later.

Pam, I am normally pretty good at it, I just didn't know what I was supposed to do! LOL

My girl has actually got a good amount of entries already, now if I do more than scan them is the question! LOL But I know what your saying. Pooka's God mother started one last year and has about 5 posts in total! LOL

I am not a moocher freaky. lol. I agree, you eat before you go to the movies, that way the most you need is a pop. lol

Ladynay said...

Sorry pop is funny. I pick with my coworker all the time! LOL

Dang Southern, NEVER AGAIN??? Wow! Not even every now and again? Come on Southern, don't do your man like that! LOL

Dates are pretty much moochers by definition. Not taking them allows you to skip concessions, go to the matinee (dates always want to go to one of the more expensive evening shows, especially when she ain't coming out of pocket), and you're saving the price of admission for them and gas to pick them up and take them home.

If the movie is over 90 minutes then I want "pop" (soda is a particular kind otherwise it just sounds funny) and popcorn.

I'd probably be disappointed by their blogs and I probably wouldn't want them knowing how I get down. I just think it would be cool to find out about someone's blog outside of the Internet.

So you did the paper wrong? (Sigh) Get my belt Ladynay and meet me in that dark room with the big, sturdy, polished wood desk. This is going to hurt you a lot more than it hurts me but it's for your own good.

i dont blame u about the movies.. especially since movies before 12noon are the only ones considered as matinee...

im stuck on a 3 page paper.. i got 1.5 pages done... but i cant get no more...

Hmmmm so if the date in mention doesn't have the funds to sponsor the night out they are a moocher? Of course people want the later shows, so they can start their mack game after the movie. The night time helps set the stage and folks wanna go home. During the day they wanna go somewhere else! HAHAHAHA! :-P

Lemme find out you got a time limit..."um cuse me, this movie is over a hour and a half so you gonna have to come up off some soda and popcorn too chick!" LOL

I'll get the oil and gag while I'm at it...it's for my own good!

TTD, that's EXACTLY what happened yesterday! I had a page and was just stumped! I looked at the screen for the LONGEST time with nothing!

Ladynay said...

Wait TTD...b4 12??? I think we go to at least 3! WoW!

If I ask her out then it's good. If she wants to take me out and tells me she doesn't have much money than I appreciate the thought and effort and I don't try to gouge her or anything. If I'm generally expected to pay if and when we go out or we don't go out if I'm not paying then yeah, you're a moocher.

After all that money being spent I can see why anyone would try to get some return on investment.

Depending on the chain our matinées last until 5 or 6pm.

Get the oil that heats up to the touch. No gag though because I want to hear you scream. We'll also need a mirror because I want to see the tears crawl down your face.
