Notice anything different?

I thought after 500 entries it would be time to change the scenery. It took awhile to find something I liked. I came very close to paying for my own new spot but didn't. Maybe when I am more advanced in blog manipulation I will start putting some money in it.

We didn't end up at the circus yesterday. Long story short, we get there and the gate is locked. There is another woman with a car full of young boys already parked by the gate. I get out and ask the woman if she was there for the circus, she replied yes. We came to the conclusion that we both must be really early so I hop back in the van. About 5 minutes later a SUV drives up from the other side of the gate, unlocks it and drives the SUV up to my van. I rolled the windows down and asked him about the circus. He tells me that the circus isn't here yet! I told him that there was supposed to be a 7:30 show and he hopped out the SUV to see my tickets. I get them out the purse and realize that my tickets say March 23rd. I feel kinda crazy but I KNOW FOR A FACT that I brought tickets for the 17th. The other lady had tickets for another date too and one even had a January date on it!

We go back and forth and I eventually just drive off. The circus wasn't there so there was no reason to keep talking about it. Pooka's heart was broken and she cried all the way home. I stopped for a milkshake to lift our spirits (bad I know). I get home and cut my computer on to see if I can retrieve the online receipt and the power goes out! UGH! Turns out a tranformer was on fire and knocked power out for 40,000+ people. So now I am slightly irked again. Pooka and I just hop on the couch and take a nap. I woke up and the power was still out so I went to put us in our beds and like 30 seconds later there was light.

I get on the computer and I had remembered that I thrown away the receipts after I got the tickets in the mail and being click happy at work I dumped my trash mail so the proof I am not crazy was gone. I go on the ticketmaster site and of course it's changed up and it says that they are in Richmond, VA last night. So I guess they corrected the issue. However, I know that when I brought the tickets I chose the option for them to mail me the tickets 2 days in advance of the show because that is the free option. I think I even blogged that I was afraid I wouldn't get them in time or something like that. Since I got my tickets what does that say? Then there was another family thinking the same thing so I know I am not crazy! I brought tickets for yesterday. I know I did!

Now let me go try and catch this bus so we can be at the parade site on time.
