The weekend

OMG, let me start of with a confession....

I had a dream last night...

Not just any dream...

That dream that most of us had...

In elementary school...

You know...

The one that involved the restroom...

Yeah THAT one...

27 flippin' years old and I have THAT dream...

Thank God Pooka or Snookums wasn't in the bed with me...

*sigh*

On another note, my weekend was chill. I didn't do a darn thing, not even clean! I had planned to do some volunteer work at the church for community service hours Saturday, but the chick didn't call me back to let me know if she needed more people. I wasn't gonna drive to those parts just to get sent back home. I don't get paid till tomorrow and my gas tank needed to stay put so I can make it to those parts today for my swim final.

I ended up watching Lsbnmoms toddler and watched Pooka get possessive. She is really used to being an only child because most the day Friday she would tell on the toddler every 10 minutes about her touching her stuff. The funniest one to me was when she told that she was in her bathroom! Thank goodness Saturday was a different story. Pooka was a bit more willing to share her toys and what not and played with her a lot more. Entertaining stuff.

Why oh why did I have to change my schedule for the Fall semester? Right when I had everything where I wanted it and had my schedule approved with my job. See, when we sign up for community service we have to fill out an online form of sorts with the school. Then you are sent a confirmation to your school email address. I hadn't checked my school email since summer session I ended so when I looked I saw an email from the sign language teacher. It basically said that due to a scheduling conflict the class won't be offered, so drop it and find something else to take! I read that thing like 3 times to make sure I read right. So Saturday I spent looking up classes and trying to figure out a way I can fit another class in and still work my forty. I finally figured it out. I am going to take statistics vs. sign language. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've heard the horror stories about statistics but it is a class I have to take to graduate. I don't need sign language to graduate. I just want to know how to sign. Being that the system is STILL down from Friday, I'll have plenty of time to talk my new schedule over with my supervisor. I don't see where she should have an issue with it. *shrug*

That is so weird. I did the same thing yesterday. I'm going to take Business Communications instead of Statistics, people keep telling me that it's not that easy. I know I'll have to take it at one point, but I'll hold off until I have no choice but to take it.

Yeah, I hear yah. I am trying to have my schedule lay out in a way that my last year will be "easy".

To me Business Communications and Stats don't sound all that appealing.

Business Communications isn't bad. I got an A in and of course was the professor's pet. :o) Statistics though...was pure evil. I was happy to get out of it with a C+. My condolences to you. Stats will make you cry, lose hair, or hurt someone you love. It's true.

Um wow. Maybe Pooka needs to experience that but I don't know if you'd be able to look your Snookums in the eyes after that. Eww!

Hey, I still get possessive of my mom and have been known to growl at cute little kids getting to snuggly and comfortable with her. As I tell my sister, she was my mom first so my rights to her supersedes anyone elses or in simpler talk, "She's my mommy!!!"

LOL @ your confession. Don't mind to laugh.

I had to take 3 economics courses. Hate 'em! I had to take one of them over b/c I received a D.

My son is possessive too. He doesn't know how to share.

i'm clearly in the minority here, but i loved stats! *ducking the rocks being thrown at me* it's the only "math" i ever felt really confident about. so, if ever need any help, get at me! that being said, i'm sure you'll do very well!

DNT, not many people enjoyed the experience.

Kids are kids.

Honey, can I use your dryer? LOL

You'll have to change something somewhere down the line, it's just how things work.

FD, well we'll all see what this stats class will do to me.

Yeah I know right...wow!

Lawdddddd have mercy! ROFL She's your sisters mommy too whether she came second or not! LOL

Southern, go ahead and laugh. The whole thing blew me!

Why in the world did you major in to need to take more than one? Ewwwww!

O needs to hang with some cousins or something like Pooka does. They don't know how to share cuz right now they don't have too! :-(

Sherlon, glad I could take you back to a happy place :-)

BB, no rocks will be thrown up in here! :-) I have no real choice but to do well. I'll suffer for 3 months but I will do well. :-)
