Whew

So far I got the vibe that today will be more chill than yesterday. Massa and 'em wanted me and a few others to prove our worth yesterday and we did. We were so loopy by the end of the day yesterday I was in Common Denominators cube and was tripping out with her! WTH?

My cousin who is about half a year older than me is pregnant. The doctor thinks it's twins. God bless her soul. I thought my mom was playing when she told me yesterday but she wasn't. My cousin already has a toddler son with some ummmmmm anger management issues. Now she about to bring possibly 2 more in the camp. Again, bless her, her hubby, and just her household in general.

Tonight is my 2nd and last night of First Aid. Tuesday was fun. We had an instructor that looked like a short and foreign version of the lightest Bone in Bone Thugs N Harmony. Seriously! When I looked at him I kept thinking "it's bone and biggie biggie, it's bone and biggie biggie" in my head! LOL He was a jokester and kept the class laughing while getting the lesson across. Too bad he won't be there tonight, we are going to have some chick. I hope she is just as cool.

Slim Shady kept her word about keeping Pooka w/out a charge. I was glad for that. She was very impressed that my child could read, color in the lines, and ate salad. When I picked her up and the next day at work she would tell me how well mannered and smart Pooka was. To me Pooka is where she is supposed to be at almost 6, however, it was still nice to hear that Pooka represented herself and myself well. Lsbnmom is keeping Pooka tonight and hopefully she will continue to represent properly.

I forgot to put on earrings! UGH! I feel funny.

I was saddened to hear about certain things happening in certain relationships I know about. It wasn't just one, it's a few of them going through.

My tummy was acting like I had grilled cheese, a glass of milk, some yogurt, and some ice cream last night! I don't know what was going on cuz I didn't have any of that. I had some pizza for lunch care of one of my bosses, but that normally doesn't bother me. *sigh* When the most severe part of the pain was over the pain just lingered on until I went to bed. Not cute at all.

My supervisor lost my schedule for the fall and requested another one. My schedule changed so I need to print out (and discuss) the new one for her. There are 2 problems. 1) The system we use to access things such as our schedules has been down for awhile and 2) My new schedule will not allow me to work a 40 hour work week. The second is a problem cuz management usually doesn't care what I do as long as I give them my 40. I just have to pray on it and try not to worry too much about it.

I still haven't heard from anyone about the Rehab Asst. position. Tomorrow will make 2 weeks and the email you get says if you are chosen you will usually hear from someone within 2 weeks. Being that I haven't heard, I put in for a Lab Asst. position. I don't have any clerical experience in a lab setting but I put in for it anyway. Like I've stated a million times. I just gotta put myself out there until somebody else picks me up. I want out of here.

School starts next Monday and I don't really feel like going. I am trying to get up with my motor learning professor to find out the general hours I have to have outside of class. Last year I had classmates who where taking her motor learning class and they had to spend some time at a school every week. I am very curious about that because depending on how many hours I need to be with the kids, I may have to switch the class for something else. That is, if I can.

Laddy da, we'll see what happens.

Congratulations to your cousin and good luck to you starting school, Ladynay. I know how you feel starting back in school, I remember those days and it's no fun revving up and getting re-acquainted. You write with verve and intelligence though, I'm sure you'll do well.

And yes....may God bless your cuz. My co-worker here is pregnant with twins and she is only 3 1/2 months and is BIG!!! God bless her too!!!

My current semester ends next week. I can't say I'm not happy that it will be over. Maybe during my free week I'll actually be able to get my books situated. (SIGH)

You gonna let your cousin beat you in the baby contest? I didn't know you was a quitter. Chop chop woman you got some baby making to do. :oD (All incoming objects bounce off of my personal force field.)

If you like bones I have one that...blah, blah, blah. LOL

You forgot to add some mozzarella sticks to that yummy order you mentioned. Mmm, mmm, mmm!

I'm with you! Pooka should be reading at her age. Some people nowadays seem to think that it's amazing when kids can read at her age or by the time they get to kindegarten. That was considered normal where I grew up...most kids that grew (me included) up with me were reading by age 4 and knew how to write their name. A sign of the times I guess....

girrrrllll, I had the bg's this morning. It was definitely not a good look until after I had a meeting in the ladies room. lol Yeah I know...tmi. :-)

Everything will go over well with your job and your new schedule. They know that they have a quality employee in you.

As far as the position you applied for, try calling the company and asking for the hr department to see if you can speak directly with a recruiter.

It is. You can't pass kindergarten unless your reading at a level one or better so I don't know why she was impressed. *shrug*

I gotta meeting in the ladies room, be back real soon uh ohhh uh uh ohhhhhh. Oh sorry had a music moment. LOL

I may have to try that calling HR thing out...

When I get ready to have kids, I want you to make a copy of Pooka and send her to me. Deal?

Hey did they charge you for that call to 911? For some reason I thought that false 911 calls were charged a certain amount of money. It is good to know that they will be on and poppin that quickly.

Good luck with school. I am really impressed by the number of us in school.
