The morning of 7/12/05

I've been thinking about which embarrassing moment I was going to blog about and as I walked in my building to go to work, this post from 7/12/05 came to mind! I don't believe I actually made an attempt to look for this! Anyways, here is the partial repost!

Allow me to permit you to laugh at me for a second.....

Since the beginning of the year I have been wearing my hair in different styles, all involving weave. It was part of my New Years resolution to take better care of myself inside and out. My co workers (white) marvel at the ways that "we" do our hair and how we have so many options. It's funny how they are interested in how the weave works. Anyways, the style of the week this week is my hair pulled back with a pony tail attachment (tres cute). Weeeeeeeeeeeell this morning my co worker walks by my office and says good morning like she always does, takes a few steps backwards and asked me "Where's your hair?" I reached back and my hair was not there!!!!! So I fly out the office, luckily I don't live far from the job and there my hair was, sitting in it's normal spot at my house!

Thank God I get here early so only about 3 people saw me without it! Thank goodness I have already explained that all the styles I flaunt isn't 100% Lady Nay hair! For a while "they" thought it was mine, some of the sista's did too! LOLThis is a NEVER for me! I am not the prim and proper type nor do I consider myself a fashion diva....but I am NOT the one to leave the house with my hair a mess. If all else fails you'll see me in a hat or I'd wrap it up Badu style!

I am falling apart......

So without the clip on ponytail they thought you were Sir Nay? :oD I'm sure that woman was going to call security on you walking around like you work there. LOL

Something similar happen to me once when I left my lace front pubic hair wig at home when I was working my corner. All of my clients stopped asking me if I was a cop and started asking me how old I am. :oD

Too Funny!!!! The white girls here are marveled how I keep with so many hair styles. They love the "phony pony" look on me as well.

Okay ARgal! Cuz I just knew I left the house that day with my piece attached! LOL How you put your shirt on that day and not realize you had no chest support on? LOL!

FD, we don't have security.

Imma ignore that comment! Crazy! LOL

Kasandra, Finer hair is just harder to deal with, so I heard

Sometimes I miss being able to throw my ponytail on, then as soon as the thought comes it passes. :-D

Monique, it was a mess!

So you just forgot your hair piece all together? You just pulled your hair back and that was it..just slipped your mind? You must have been real pre occupied.

Must I must say that is real funny.

I remember once, when I was younger, and we were leaving church one day, and this lady, who was notorious for her such "nice" hair...Well it was a real windy Sunday. I was talking to her one minute turned my head anention to someone else for a few minutes, and the lady's was talking to someone else by then, but I noticed, that the lady's ponytail which was there a few minutes previous was gone. I asked her what happen to her hair. She felt the back of her head and started to panick. I then noticed that her ponytail was flying down the church stairs, in the wind. She started chasing that hair like she Flo Jo or something. I'm telling you the wind was strong that day. However we all fianlly realized the secret of her such "nice" hair.

I already did my embarrassing moment post, but I have so many I might do another...IDK yet, don't want to make myself look like a complete idiot.

Yeah I was rushing that morning :-(

I think what happened to the lady at church is more embarrassing than what happened to me! LOL At least not many people saw me!

I'll read your story in a bit.

I don't know how in the sam hill I walked out of the door and got in the car without noticing I was lacking chesticle support. My mind must have been another galaxy away.

Umm kuse' me YB&DL don't be asking Argal about her breasteseses. She apparently has enough that she had to go back home and handle that situation! *wink*

Whuddup SuiteB, welcome to my blog. Make yourself comfy. I will admit I've been pretty come and go with the blog thing lately but still come back and see a sista sometime :-)

Oh yeah, couldn't rock the short pig tail on top of the head. My face don't work well with that style at all!
