Never burn your bridges

I tried to avoid it...

I said to myself I'd never go back...

But I am...

This morning I emailed my old boss at the state if to see if I could get back on board part time. She responded that she was anxious to have me back and gave instructions on what I needed to do. I'm going back as a temp. I am going to fill out my paperwork Monday morning. This means it is possible that as early as next week I'll have another steady check coming in! YAY! I am still on with the caregiver place, but I can't sit and wait for a client while the bills keep coming.

Lord, please control Common Denominators bi-polor mannerisms before I return, pretty please? Amen.

You do what you have to do. Since there aren't any clients that need you during the hours you're available it's only a potential job or a job in name. The state needs you when you're available and wants to pay you. There's no shame in that. At least you're not stripping.

Now can I get a dollar?

Whe says I'm not stripping????? *wink*

Ask me about that dollar after I get my financial game back in check :-D

LMAO @ Freaky.

I need to get a 2nd job my damn self so I can save some major cash. I need to find one where I don't have to deal with people though. They get on my nerves bad enough during the day.

That's cool that you still have a good relationship with your old job. I couldn't go back to any of my old jobs without them calling security on me. LOL

You are doing what you have to do. Kudos to you!

Girl, I TOTALLY agree with not burning bridges although I've wanted burn and completely destroy a few. Lol. Glad you'll have some more income coming in. That's always a plus, especially now.

Shoot, if I hadn't put on so much weight, I may have seriously contemplated stripping myself. Lol Maybe.

I am dancing at Chubba Wubba's Big Girl Paradise down off Main and 5th. Let me know what day you coming through! LOL!

Argal, technically this is job 3 for me, but we won't count the 2nd. If you have the time and a place you don't mind working then I say go for it. Everyone could use a few extra bucks in their savings account. Lord knows I could.

Rashan, I find that hard to believe...well then again no I don't! HAHAHAHA!

Southern, you're right but I still don't like that I don't have many other options! :-(

Goddess, now you know The God would not have his wife up on a stage somewhere bumping and grinding for someone that's not him! He'd kill you and everyone up in there! LOL!

you're certainly right about not burning bridges. i try and keep that in mind before telling ppl how i really feel! also, just keep in mind that the position is temporary.

Good Morning Ms. Butterfly!

You can still speak your mind, it's all in how you do it tho' LOL!

It is temporary. My boss at my Industrial Rehab job already said that I'll be full time once business starts picking up. I am not expecting that to happen very soon given that most companys are not at there optimum right now, but hey, the economy must pick up sooner or later :-)
