Death of a priceless creation.....

Julie,

You probably know that our administrator has just told the staff of your passing on Monday. She broke down and was unable to say much, but I think you passed in your sleep at your mom's place. I don't know how to take it. Part of my brain simply does not want to accept it. Part of me knows that you will be back next week from vacation in Jersey and will probably buy the staff some lunch or a sonic slushie like you always do.

I just can't believe it. You're a real angel now.

You truly were a creation like no other and NOBODY will ever be able to fill your shoes. You gave so much of yourself to us and our families in your short time on this earth and never wanted a thank you or repayment. Pooka still rides that bike you brought her for Christmas, broke and all! I still think your crazy for doing that. That soooooo crossed the coworker relationship line, but that's who you were. You did stuff like that for everyone. You spoiled everyone you came in contact with rotten.

Thank you for all the meals, gifts, time, and non work related things you've given and done for me and Pooka. This time you have to take my appreciation.

I can't believe you are gone.

Damn.

*sigh* it's the end of the day and most of us are still in denial.

I was just asking myself if she was the one that purchased the bike for Pooka before I got to that line.

At least if she was lucky enough (if you can call it that) to pass in her sleep.

R.I.P Julie!!
