Christmas and all that jazz

Santa was good to me this year. I got my standard underwear and winter stuff (gloves, hat, scarf, etc...), then I got 2 shirts and 2 pair of khakis for my upcoming clinical. It's not a lot but it's all needed. Again, Santa was good to me.

I've been pretty good with the eating thing. My personal trainer emailed me and I sorta kinda lied about my exercising while on vacation. I didn't have to, I should have been real but I wasn't.

I didn't spend Christmas morning with Pooka. Her dad came and scooped her up the night before. He is keeping her till next Sunday. Do you know what that means? A week of child freedom!!!!! Will I go crazy? No. I am at work now. Will work 1/2 tomorrow and then go meet the people I will be "working" with for the next 8 weeks @ the hospital & get my badge (I am soooo nervous), then working the state job on Thursday. Friday will be spent going through Pooka's stuff tossing everything she can't wear or doesn't play with anymore Goodwill's way. Other than that I will be killing it on the trail and working out with the trainer. I will probably be alone when the new year begins if I don't find somewhere to go, but I am okay with that.

My trip to MD was okay. The day after Christmas I was sick, very sick. It was to the point where I was vomiting air! I.HATE.THAT! There was nothing left to exit my body! Stuff was coming out of everywhere it was able to ALL.DAMN.DAY! Ugh! Of course one of my friends that lives in LA was in town and wanted to see me that day. She was sweet considering I felt like crap when she stopped through for a sec. I am glad I got to see her.

Babydaddy made me mad, but what else is new. He had the nerve to call me the day after Christmas asking if I packed Pooka's suitcase and talking about how Pooka didn't pack any long sleeved shirts. My reply..."no and okay". I was just waiting for him to ask me to buy some. I had my response mentally ready for him. He was quiet for a second and then he changed the subject! LOL! I think he has a new girlfriend. It's not the main one (who he now lives with), the married one, the other white one, or the black one. This one is new and she has a truck. He also lost his job. I thought I published the blog about the phone call I got a couple of weeks ago with him talking about him moving and starting a new job. He wanted me to open an account for Pooka at XYZ bank so he could have a fraction of his checks go in it and now that he's sharing bills and what not with the main gf he should be able to help more. I knew it wasn't gonna pan out just by his history so I didn't bother opening the account. His gf's love Pooka so I am sure she will eat well and have a good time while spending the week with her father.

On 12/24 my grandmother drunkenly asked "ain't no famous person die yet? It's the Christmas season someone famous is doing to die". Two day later Lady T was gone. What makes it scary is the last time grand diva said something like thst during Christmas time James Brown died Christmas day. She does this stuff with pregnancies too! She freaks me out sometimes with that stuff!

Well that's about it. Happy Early New Years!!!!!

At least you had a Christmas. LOL I am glad that you feel better. Work it girl..... no lying about it. Just do it. LOL

Don't you just hate it when you know what the outcome will be when certain people tell you things? LOL I know that feeling all too well.

Alittle time to yourself is great. You need that every now and then to have your sanity. My rugrats are gone for 2 weeks.............. hear the silence! LOL

Make sure you have a trash can next time and not one of those mesh joints either. They will save your life (well, at least your pride) next time you get sick like that.

Anytime you need someone to scream mean things to you while calling you soft names I'll do it for 75% of what you pay the trainer. LOL! Profiting from my cruelty can be fun.

Um, so who's pregnant? Is it you? *assumes the fetal position* Not the face, not the face!

Glad you had a good Christmas.

it's so unfortunate to be sick at a time when you need to be moving and shaking. you're only back in md for a short while. oh well...well as far as the babydaddy...um....i guess that's some measure of progress. haven't really been around so i know i've missed quite a bit. glad you enjoyed Christmas and are getting a small mama break.

Yay Santa! I've decided to just be honest with my trainer. I'm sure I'll regret it when she beats me up next week but! C'est la vie! I'm going to do at least 3 days this week so I don't get TOO murdered. Yay for child freedom! Try to enjoy it a little, mk! Not a question! Rashan's nephew needs a goodwill cleaning so bad it's not funny. It's actually kind of infuriating. I'm glad you feel better! When I'm ready to be with child, please show grand diva my pic. Twins, please! LOLOL

Now you can't be telling tales to the trainer. LOL! Glad you enjoyed your Christmas! I too had to re-read about the numerous girlfriends O_o. Hey you get a baby break. Cool! You have to find something really fun to do! I love old people! Pours out something for TM.
