I've been up to the same things. School, work, masterb...umm relieve stress, spend time w/Pooka, sleep, repeat.
I've been exercising. My muscles are sore but I don't care! I am going hard core (yet again) with my physical health. Screw waiting till January to get serious! So many reasons why I need to get this excess off of me!
One reason being my very first clinical experience starting January 3rd! So scary, yet so exciting! This will be the first real test to see how much I've learned in the almost 12 months I've been in PT school. I can't believe that I am almost done my first year! Everyone says "if you can survive the first year you can finish the program" YAY! My last class of the orthopaedic module is upper body (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand). My grades haven't been too great till yesterday. We had a pop quiz yesterday and I got 100% (booyah) then we had our elbow exam today and I got a 87% (double booyah)!!!!! Next week is our last week on campus!!!!!!!!! All I have left is a practical exam (hour long PT session where we treat a patient with an upper body issue from shaking their hand and introducing yourself to setting up their next appointment), written exam, technique exam (professor gives you 2 interventions to perform and they critique/grade your technique), and present some research I've been working on! That's it! Soooooo excited!
Here is a pic of me taken on Wednesday. It was freezing so I broke out one of my winter coats. Everyone kept making comments on how cute they thought I looked and one on my classmates insisted on getting a photo! LOL! It's funny. We are so used to looking at each other in sports bra's, shorts, tee shirts, and/or sweat pants we appreciate and love to see each other in real clothes! LOL! Posting this photo is 2 fold cuz I am also using it as some of my "before" photos *cheese*
Now back to staring into that light down there!
