Pooka calls me at 1:38 am this morning to wish me a happy birthday and to tell me she loves me! Awwwww :) She is one of the few people that can wake me up out of a good sleep and not get any attitude! LOL!
After we have our conversation, I try to make myself go back to sleep. I failed.
I've skimmed through facebook and said thanks to the night owls that pay attention to the birthday reminders and now I am blogging. *shrug*
Today I plan to do my internship thing in Blue Devil country. Then come home and chill with me, myself, and I. Exciting stuff huh? LOL!
Speaking of internship, it's been.....okay. The patients are wonderful learning experiences, but my CI not so much. Last week we ended up having an hour and 45 minute conversation after work 'cuz I about had it with her! I mean I was so frustrated I was literally crying!
Long story short, she only verbally acknowledged my faults. I am pretty good at receiving criticism. However, if you don't throw a positive note in there somewhere at some point in time it can really tear you down. After we talked and I expressed to her my thoughts and feelings she has been better. She even told me that her ex boyfriend told her some of the same stuff that I did. Shocking! LOL!
Other than that stuff is good. The group home job is same ole same ole. Pooka has been doing extremely well since her surgery. Hopefully I can get some assistance paying that hospital bill! Yikes! We will see.
I don't have much of a social life right now, but I am okay with that.
I got a family reunion in Philly coming up soon which should be fun.
Ummmmm, yeah. That's about it. So what's up with you all?
