Tomorrow tomorrow

Isn't that what Annie sings..."your only a day away"? Well I am only a day away from my long road trip! Do you think I have packed yet? Nope, but what is new? LOL I got all afternoon to pack and make sure all my social clothing fits right. Instead of losing X pound before my birthday I have gained 10 so I gotta check that out. This past weekend with my kickoff reminded me of a few things. Enough with the not go positive....I am really starting to get excited!!!! This time tomorrow I will be in a nice rental on the highway, going to see what I can see, meet a few of these online folks I have been chatting it up with, and hang out with one of my girlfriends FINALLY! This is great!!!!!!!! Next...

Last night I felt great. I already knew this about myself, but I am happy when I am busy! I think it's because when there is nothing to do my mind kinda goes off on it's own and leads me somewhere I don't like to go. At work yesterday I don't know what it was but everyone wanted to call me a curse me because of me not sending them a check. I handled them without getting ghetto, even tho' one particular female was about to make me break my resolution to stop cussin'! Alot was put on my plate and I handled it. I had to run around and do some things but everything got dealt with. I like accomplishing things epecially when people don't expect you too! I like knowing that I got this that and the other ahead of me so I can plan on how to tackle it! I like having a busy schedule. I like being occupied. How many times can I say the same thing? LOL Next...

I am going to be 25 soon! Yippeeeeeeeee! Finally old enough to rent an SUV. Finally old enough to get into any club in the area (except 30 Plus) not that I am a club person anyway but still I have more options. Finally another mile stone age! I don't know what my girlfriend has planned for me on Monday but I know I will have to have some alcohol even if it is only a Smirnoff or something kool-aidy like that! I can't wait to get on the road, nothing is planned and everytime I go some where and I plan out every little thing.....the plan messes up and I end up pissed. Unplanned fun is always the best in my experience so far...Next....

I am loved! Yesterday I went running around after work taking my blood pressure to a new level, I felt it rising! But I won't dwell on the craziness of others. But I will say I went back to Durham in hopes that Chitown told my girl I was coming back and Chitown answered the door again without a shirt!!!!! *gag* Ever seen a crackhead shirtless?????

Anyways, after doing all I did, I got home about 12:30 this morning. I didn't plan to stay out that long but that's how it happened. When I got home I saw my message light blinking on the phone so when I check 'em the automated lady tells me I have 16 messages! What in the world????? For some folks that is common but anything over 4 or 5 is out of the ordinary for me. They were mostly "where are you" calls and what not. At first I caught an attitude and thought that I must be a child and I gotta tell everyone everywhere I go. But after some thought I thanked God that I have people in my life that are concerned about me enough to blow up my phone when I can't be found. People like that are very handy when you are a single female living on your own. God forbid someone cause Pooka and/or myself harm and we come up missing. They are such a blessing and I am thankful for those overprotective summofa....*wink*

If you don't mind, can you say a prayer for me and my trip? Even if it's a 5 second "Lord, send a hedge of protection around her and her travels" type thing. 'Preciate cha!

Just think, when I get back....I'll be 25! Go me, go me, it's my birthday, it's my birthday!!!!
