New Day

Well nothing much has happened except my laptob acting up *insert sobbing here*. Yesterday afternoon I came home and went through my normal routine which includes turning on the computer. I start my internet routine and the screen freezes. I wait for awhile thinking I was just clicking on stuff to fast, come back to the computer it's still frozen. I play with the keys (control alt del and what not) and nothing happens so I just unplug it and let it sit for a good 10 minutes. I plug it back in turn it on and nothing happens except for the little power light coming on for 5 seconds and turning back out. Okay so I start calling up my peeps that know more about computers than I and follow their suggestions, nothing has worked so far. Now I am without a pc at home which bites! Next....

Yesterday when I picked Pooka up from daycare she was just as happy and her normal self. We get in the car, go down the road, get on the highway and she starts crying! Not just a regular ole' cry but ballin'. I ask her what's wrong and she takes a minute to get it together enough to talk and she tells me she wants her dada (oh lawd). So I tell her we'd call him when we got home and she was okay. The next minute she is really excited and asking me if we can go to Hair's house (one of these days I will figure out how to link a page to a word or group of words so you can click on Hair's name and it will go to the page where I mention her before, until then.....she is one of my girlfriends/one of Pooka's godmothers) I tell Pooka that Hair nor the kids are home. A minute after that she is sobby with her arms folded up and tells me her earrings are sad, which I still don't understand and a minute after that she is happy singing along to mesmorize by Faith Evans....

So that is a nice little range of emotions in the space of about 10 minutes. I think I passed that on to her cuz my emotions can swing very quickly. It would not be surprizing to just feel like crying 10 minutes from now, for no reason....just to feel like crying or whatever other emotion for no reason at all. Then I wonder why people don't understand me sometimes! LOL I hope and pray Pooka grows out of it. Next.....

My car is still shutting off at random times while driving. All the fluids are at the right levels and I have put some fuel injector cleaner in the tank and nothing is helping. It doesn't happen often. It used to happen once every other month....now it's happening every other week! I cut the car off and back on and she runs like nothing happened. I know my car is overdue for an oil change but I know that is not the reason what is happening is happening! Hmph! If it's not one thing it's another!

Well back to "work".

I haven't done a list in a while...so here goes...

1. Women are emotional...at every age.

2. Probably your fuel pump. All those cleaners n stuff you're putting in there...those things clog when the car gets older because of debris and they aren't as efficient. (The Hoop De Ville had gone through 3 fuel pumps at about $400 each on average).

3. Oh yeah...the computer. Might need to be optimized - cleaned off n stuff. If that doesn't work, windows might need reloading. (It helps dating an IT guy...) If you can find a person do to it for a fair price...go for it...but don't take it to Geek Squad. The cleaning and reloading should cost no more than $150 if the person is being fair.
