A few things that make my eyebrow raise...

Freaky (over on the right) tagged me to speak on a few things I think are suspicious.

Children that are quiet for too long-I always gotta get up and see what's going on. If I only have Pooka I have to call her name and ask her what she's doing. I have to hear a laugh, the tv, a toy moving around, something.

Call from certain folks-everybody has someone who only calls every blue moon for something (money, a favor, a ride, etc) never just to see how you are.

Not hearing from my mother-I speak to my mom at least twice a day. If she don't call I get worried. If she calls me too early or very late I get scared something is wrong.

Personality flippers- like my coworker Common Denominator, cool one minute and bout to have you choke her the next minute. Oh and there is Slim Shady...she's slim and shady no need to go further to explain.

Out of place things- a good example of what I mean happened this morning. I came outside to get in the van and my gas door was open and my attached gas cap was off. Now I got gas last night so I could have drove off without putting the cap on and closing the door, but my mind said that someone ciphened my full tank of gas!

Some unexpected gifts- yesterday Big Chips asked me what Pooka's birthstone was. I told her and she said she was going to get a friend of hers to make Pooka a bracelet like she made her granddaughter....Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh okaaaaaaaaaaaay. Last time I checked Christmas and her birthday pasted already. I don't mind the "oh I got these for my kid/grandkid and it didn't fit so I thought maybe Pooka could use/wear it" type stuff, but that out the blue stuff made me wonder.

People who are all of a sudden interested in what I am doing - I had a coworker who doesn't really talk to me. She is ight and we say good morning/evening and that's that. We never take a minute to ask how's so and so, how was your weekend or nothing like that. Then one day she wanted to know what school I went to and what I was taking. Very weird. I told her cuz it's not like she could hurt me with that info or nothing. Weird. I guess this could go under out of place things *shrug*

The too good to be true - stuff like that internet deal I was going to sign up for about 6 months ago. It sounded to good to be true and my suspicions were right and I cancelled it the next day. YAY!

I know it's not 9 but that's all that come to mind at the moment. I may or may not add later.

You only had one more. Boooo! Go get a switch, now! SMH :oD

Did someone siphon gas from the Devil's van? Okay let me quit playing. I siphoned your gas because well, gas is expensive and you don't have a gun.

Unexpected gifts makes all kinds of alarms go off for me too. I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop and for them to hit me up for a favor or something now that I'm indebted to them. Speaking of being indebted I have a Nintendo Wii I want to give you.

I don't trust quiet kids unless they are sleep. I know my son is up to no good when all of a sudden he gets quite.

How you know I don't have a gun? You don't know what I got out back! That's all imma say! LOL

If folks want something I'd rather them ask for it than to get me something so I can feel I owe them.

Give me the Wii and I won't feel anything but joy, no debt or nothing, just joy *cheese*

Southern, it's one of the tell tell signs! LOL

I had to learn about qiet kids the hard way. I was quiet as a child so I didnt think anything of it. That is until one day the three year old came in the front room and 4 of her pretty long braids were missing. Leets just say, I bust in there room rom time to time now. lol

Oh you best believe there will ge a debt. I'm getting my return on investment. Three guess where I'm getting it from. Now if I hooked you up with a Oui instead of a Wii then I might just let you off.

I gotta cosign on that people who are suddenly interested in what I'm doing. I'm sort of a pessimist anyway and I'm a big conspiracy theorist, so I'm always looking for the other shoe to drop. I'm very private as well, so I'll not divulge very much if I haven't normally been kicking it with you like that in the past. If I don't get with you, consider anything you ask about me a GS-13 classified secret.

Nay, you don't have a gun. You too SOFT! lol

The kid thing, hands down, gets to me. It's why I hate babysitting. My sister's kids straight flipped the script tho. The only time they're quiet is when they're sleep. They're ALWAYS into something...

Not hearing from my mother (or other family members) - I can definitely relate to that. If we don't talk to each other on a regular basis, or don't hear from each other for awhile, you do get a feeling that something isn't right.

There are a couple of slim and shadys where I work too. In fact, some of them hang tough. So you know....

Considering how things are going with gas (and the economy in general), I would think that someone tried to siphon my gas too. If that is the case, people are bold.
