About 6 am today, Pooka's in the shower, my mom and I are in the living room watching the news, they show the bus stop weather report....
Me: That reminds me, when I went to get Pooka's uniform yesterday (around 6:25 am). I saw some kids that looked like high schoolers at the bus stop already! Standing there in the dark.
Mom: Mmph! They must have a long bus route.
Me: Probably. I'm glad the sun is out when Pooka has to be at the stop. But then again, by time she's in high school she'd be staying home by herself and I won't mind her being at the stop before daybreak.
Mom: I'll probably be in another neighborhood by then.
Me: *pauses, then flashes back to the previous evening when my mom asked if her medical records came in the mail* In NC?
Mom: Yeah
Me: *pauses again* Do you plan on going back to MD?
Mom: No
Then she goes on about how my grandmother is getting older and how she likes it better in NC so forth and so on. I told her that she tried moving here before and she went back to MD. She responded that she doubts she'll go back. Her grand plan is to move back to the country part of NC where the root of my family lives. All I could do was laugh!
She originally told me she was going to be here till Christmas....
Then she told me she was staying till the end of 2010....
When the entire time she was planning not to go back at all!!!!!!
Lawd have mercy! Wait till I call my granddiva and tell her about this! LOL!

She trying to get back to the country parts of NC. Yah know, backwoods, corn fields, and dirt roads country. I doubt she'd move to Charlotte. It's too city which is what she is trying to get away from.
ARgal, A trip and a 1/2. I'm just mad that I didn't catch on until this morning! After our chat today all the little things she's been saying all make sense! LOL!
The country? The children of the corn are going to get her. Um wait, doesn't that kind of make you one of the children of the corn? *grabs my gun* Go on now you cob child! Git! Git I said!

Southern, I couldn't either! There is NATHAN to do in the country but have cookouts and make babies! LOL! The local newspaper talks about how so and so hit a deer last night instead of who got shot up!
She said she had enough of the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). I don't blame her, I don't wanna move back up there either.
i like how your mom just casually slipped that in, as if it was old news. that sounds like something my mom would've done! LOL! do you think she'll really follow through on staying or eventually end up going back to MD?

BB and Bella, I think she'll stay here for a good minute then move back. Time will only tell.
