Why I live

A few hours ago Pooka and I were watching TV. Well...she was on the couch watching TV and I was sitting on the floor, books in between my legs, working on some oh so lovely homework. Pooka got up and sat in front of me with her back against my chest (like I'm her human chair) and wrapped my arms around her. Okay she needs some physical bonding time. I could dig it.

After a few minutes she moved the books from under her bottom, turned both her legs around, placed them over my right leg and wrapped her arms around me like she was hugging me from the side. (This is kinda hard to explain but whatever) LOL

But out the blue the coolest thing happened.

She gave me a kiss on the cheek, looked me in the eye and said, "I'll always love you, no matter what."

*cheese* I needed to hear that. I know she'll feel different (temporarily) when she is older and I tell her that she can't go to a party that some boy she is into will be at, but still! LOL!

...and that is one of the reasons I live.

Awwwww! Makes me want a little girl or a puppy or both. :o)

Yeah in a few years she'll probably be knocking you out with some secret Tae Kwon Do choke hold and stealing your keys and wallet. Okay, maybe not but amuses to think of it happening. LOL.
