Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!

OMG it's almost noon and I'm still in the bed! YESSSSSSSSSSSSS! LOL

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommas out there. An extra special shout out to the single parents, and a super special shout out to my single dads wearing both hats! Hugs and love for all of you!

My Momma's Day started at 8:30. A bunch of texts between 8:30 and 8:45 woke me up, I got a call from my mom and not even 5 secs after hanging up with her I got a call from my father! *gasp* He was never on my favorite people list, but he has been placed lower than he already was with me. It's not my story to tell but I will say he has lost his ever loving mind! *exhale*

Anywho, got some msgs and calls. Sent some emails/texts/fb msgs to all the momma's I knew of and started to smell bacon. I open my bedroom door to see what's up and I am commanded to stay in my room. I do what I'm told and after a bit of waiting I am served breakfast in bed! YAY! For breakfast I had some cinnamon raisin oatmeal fresh out the microwave, bacon and eggs pipping hot from the griddle, piece of toast w/2 jelly packets, and a glass of OJ! Woot woot! *insert stir that soup dance* I was told that cereal will be for lunch! :-D I love my child, I swear I do!

My day will consist of doing absolutely nothing! Well, I will do Pooka's hair later on, but that's about it! *insert Bruno Marz Lazy Song here*

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Mothers Day to you too Lady.

How sweet that your baby served you breakfast in bed. That's just too cute. And how old is Pooka anyway? I didn't realize she was old enough to cook. Lol I wish mine COULD cook. My little girley set the toaster oven on fire so now I'm a little skeptical every time shes in the kitchen. Lol. She has gotten much better though.

:-) She is 9, 10 in August. Pooka can handle her own with the microwave, the griddle, the toaster, and the oven. We are both scared of her using the stove burners though. Oh no, not the toaster oven! :( Given the circumstance I understand your postion. We got the one with the two slots for your bread. All Pooka has to do is insert bread and press the button down!

I'm SO impressed that she made eggs. My son is 20 and his eggs are JUST now starting to LOOK right. Lol. I tried teaching him to cook for YEARS and he's only recently starting to show some interest. I think it's our going vegan that's got him feeling like he really needs to learn how to start cooking. I guess he'd rather try his had at cooking than to eat our non meat and non dairy meals. Lol Funny kid.

Glad you had a good one. You go Pooka. I decided to sleep in late that day. I promised Jj she can do the breakfast in bed another day.

I'm glad she can hold it down in the kitchen. So can Jj. Gotta make them self sufficient.

Happy Belated Mother's day. You was thought of on the day.....

ROFL! Yeah, I'm sure him living in a vegan/vegetarian type household will encourage him to try his hand at a lot of things food related! LOL
